Carli hope it goes ok, just read and didn't want to read and run.

upsetonerightnow - hugs, not easy is it? Sorry for cutting pasting your name but everytime I typed it it didn't look right. Been there too a long time ago. Found someone decent now and you will too when the time's right.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J
  • Good luck Carli, I hope it goes as well as it can.

How did the confrontation go? Did you just come out and ask him?

If a guy starts taking his phone everywhere with him, when he didn't before, then he's blatantly up to no good! You were quite entitled to snoop under those circumstances...

My male colleagues spend all day discussing which women they'd "do", but I very much doubt any of them would actually cheat...
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

The exact same attachment to the mobile is what happened to me...and when I did get hold of it the cat was let out of the bag....he had been cheating and when I first asked he lied straight to me and then when I showed him the messages he turned white, grabbed the phone from me and deleted his entire inbox. As mentioned previously your other half has been unfaithul and I hope you can get it sorted out.... Good Luck

    Hello Carlij,

I too hope that your discussion has gone well for you.

Have there been any other telltale signs? Things like him going out in the evening with rather dodgy reasons? New aftershave, new clothes, working late. Work conference weekends that he just has to go on that he never had before?

The phone thing does sound odd especially if he was not previously like that. Does he hide his credit card statements and itemised phone bill statements?

You obviously dont know men very well then Pinkshoes - I know plenty of my mates who talk about it and if the chance arises they would go for it! Stats show that 50% or more people have cheated at some point in a relationship so 50/50 chance they would!

Where did you get your stats figures from swiss69?

If it's some magazine questionnaire for instance then it's not reliable data.

IMHO I would not trust any man not to take up any opportunity he might be presented with. I've seen it happen to too many friends.

Just would like some clarification on where you got the figures from though.....

Man's point of view: It's definitely higher than 50% of men would cheat in my opinion, and from my experiences. And the 'phone thing is a 100% indicator of being up to no good (but obv. not necessarily cheating), if they always liberally left it lying around in the past.

Are you sure it wasn't one of these marketing messages purporting to be from a "girl" in order to entice you to ring their sex line or text them back or whatever it is - I get them all the time from "Suzy" or "Jenny" or whoever saying they can't wait to relive last weekend or some such gibberish - just to get me to ring their hideously expensive number.

Still, I think the lesson here has been learnt - if you don't like what you might find, don't look!

We might now like what we find, but i think alot of us would still rather know the truth.

Personally if i found my husband cheating on me it would break my heart, i really don't think i'd recover he's my world. But that said i'd rather know and have it break my heart than live a lie.
