I recently ordered a Desire on Orange from BMP.net. It was a 24 month contract, 7 month redemption.

I (thought) I was completely comfortable with the redemption system. Initially, I just worked on the principle of 'keep absolutely everthing'.
So here I am, 18days into the contract and I thought I'd go through everything, make sure I set reminders for the bills dates etc. Turns out, they haven't sent any redemption vouchers!

Their T&Cs say the vouchers can't be re-issued after 14 days. Strictly speaking, it's not a re-issue since I didn't receive them in the first place!

    Am I screwed?

The only thing I have thrown away was the box. The vouchers are not likely to be taped or folded in that are they?
Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc

Probably, their word against yours - their's is the worst system for cashbacks and one which is strict on the non re-issuing of those redemption certificates.

Used them once (12 month contract), never again - scanned and kept electronic copies of my vouchers when they arrived just to be sure. Not that it helps in your case. Sorry.

Have emailed them and they've just agreed immediately to post some vouchers. Could have knocked me over with a feather. Restores your faith.

A lesson learnt though to be more careful with future redemption deals!

Good one - just make sure you keep it safe or make photocopies.
Also their claim back process requires the sending in of multiple bills (so you need to keep all your bills).

Yes, thanks. I don't think I receive paper bills. Guess I just print off e-bills.

Well done Steve, please take care of your vouchers this time. :D
This should help others who may not receive their vouchers.

I scan and email myself a copy, just in case.
Orange bills are easy to print off, I actually prefer this way now rather than waiting for and receiving posted bills.

As mentioned you need to send off ALL bills as required (a negative for BMP's), but the cash will be paid straight into your bank account (a positive).

Just hope this company survives and you get all cashback payments.

    Good luck,

    Lynsey

  • hello all,
I thought i'd let you know about my recent experience with BMP.
I wanted a contract that gave me a free Ipad2, as I already have a decent enough phone. I went for the Nokia 1800 on tmobile at £30pm for 18 months. I chose the Ipad2 32gb as the free gift and the price of the deal was £79.99.

When the phone arrived I sent back the claim voucher the same day with copy of passport and driving licence, and got an email from them stating that it had been received on the 9th May and to allow 28 days for delivery.
After 3 weeks and no Ipad2 I phoned then and was told still no stock, but if not received within 28 days I can have the cash instead.
On the Mon 6th June I called them again as the 28 days were now up, I was told that still no stock, shortage everywhere, (which there is, so cant argue with that) I could have the cash value of the Ipad2 32gb which is £479. this will take between 7-14 days to go into my account.
On the Fri 17th June still no cash so I phoned then again and was told that they do the BACS run on a Thursday and my payment has been processed and that it should be in my account at the start of the next week.
It hadn't arrived by Tuesday 21st so I though that I would give them one more day before calling again.
I checked my account today and a payment of £479 from AI Comms has gone in.

So apart from the cash going into my account about 2 days after the time period they had given me, they have been true to their word.
There are severe stock shortages of the Ipad2, you cant even get one form Dixons/Comet at the moment.

I would probably use them again, but not for a cash back deal that involves making multiple claims.

Hope this is helpful to anybody else out there waiting for an Ipad2 from them

Got one from Comet but you need to pay up-front and wait (missed out on Topcashback!!!!).
Got the top model 3g for my son (eventually) and Comet were really helpful. Once it shows "green" on their system you can pre-pay.

At least you have the cash and can do as you please.

I still haven't yet received the cashback payment into my bank account despite receiving the following email back in May.

    What should I do now?

    Hi Mr *******

We are happy to confirm that your cash back claim has been received and has been accepted.

Payment will be made by BACS direct into the bank account you have provided us with and should show in your account within fourteen days from the 10/6/2011.

    Kind regards,
