Many thanks again for your update mj. This does appear to be a dealer in trouble (even if it's not)- all the signs are there.
Got to be very, very high risk now. Luckily only a few small claims for myself, so probably still a decent enough deal even if I don't get anything more back from them.
I'll update asap (cash not due for around another 3 weeks).
WARNING - PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER AT THIS TIME.

I ordered a HTC Desire S on a T-Mobile 24 month contract. I didn't choose a free gift or cashback but I bought the phone through a link on topcashback so should hopefully get £30 on there (so far its showing 0.1p)
I ordered my phone last thursday night at 9pm, it arrived at 7:30am on Saturday! Fantastic service. I'm very happy with this company.
I'm a bit of a novice and this was easy. I'm all set up with my smart phone and can now view my account online with T-mobile
:jI love a bargain and saving money! I don't have any debts and mortgage repaid in 20200 -
Hi Guys
I bought a contract upgrade on Friday morning with BuyMobilePhones.net.
How long does it normally take for the phone to arrive.
Order status says following
Order in processing.
Your application for a mobile phone is being processed. You will recieve an email when this is complete.
I bought the SE Xperia Arc on 24month contract @21.50pm with 100min 500 txt and 500mb data with 3 months free line rental on O2
I ordered a Blackberry Curve 8900 2 days ago. I called yesterday to enquire about delivery but was told that it was out of stock, despite their website stating that it was in stock when I placed the order. In fact the website still claims that it is in stock.
I'm reluctant to cancel the order because I can't find such a good cashback deal elsewhere, but I'm now getting worried because they appear to be using underhand sales methods which doesn't bode well for my chances of receiving the cashback payments from them.
My question is this: is it legal for a company to advertise a product as being in stock when they know this to be untrue?0 -

Possibly maybe because that phone is discontinued.
And presumably you are looking at the refurbished offering - its available elsewhere maybe as refurbished.0 -

Cashback deals are only good if you re-cover all cashback payments.
You will have read that this company has yet again decided to breach their own T&C's regarding paying cashback.
For the long-termers, those that remember the route Coolnewmobile took, this is very, very similar. I would not be surprised in the least if this company went under. They appear at least to be having cash-flow problems. To fail to pay under their lengthy timescales certainly gives this suspicion.
Think of it as a lucky escape and look elsewhere, even if you do pay a few pounds more.
Good luck.

I've now received payment - but it has underlined the dangers of dealing with a relatively small company and how dealers actually believe terms and conditions are made for them and not their customers. As with Lynsey, I don't have much left to claim but I won't be rushing to use them again.0

Thanks for another update mj, at least they are still paying up after yet another "glitch".
Fully agree about the total disregard of the T&C's on the customer side, but I'll repeat again that there are similarities with the failed Coolnewmobile outfit. This is the path they went down...........and they did go down.
No matter how many come on here to praise this company, this is a "dodgy" company and always will be as long as they show a disregard to THEIR OWN T&C's - absolute disgrace.
The warning signs are there and if you want to "gamble" with a cashback deal, please don't be too surprised and upset if/when it fails. The risk is well known.
Fingers crossed for my payment and good luck to all with cashback deals with BMP's.

And while you are pointing out all these warning signs and global disasters on the scale of coolnewmobile, you and MJ continue to use the outfit for your benefit.
As for people coming on here praising or otherwise, without knowing exact facts of how many people are dissatisfied or satisfied with any retailer, its hard to jump to any conclusion.
Having used them myself once for a 12 month contract (ended last year) and got my cashbacks (with delays), the single biggest issue is the use of using cashback vouchers (how you keep that piece of paper in a safe place) and the delay in paying out (which though they do specify in their t&c). I therefore would not choose a cashback deal through them on that basis which are inherently a risk you take because you want to spend less for more.0 -
Not had any problems here, and after sending in my bills on Wednesday via standard 1st class post I got the usual email confirmation of their arrival and acceptance on Thursday afternoon. Never had that with coolnewmobile - in fact we had to send special delivery in order to guarrantee a signature to prove they had been received. If BMP wanted to avoid paying, then they could easily have claimed my bills hadn't arrived, but instead they promptly acknowledged them.
Okay I admit the payment timescales are a bit long for my liking, but so far they have always paid, unlike coolnewmobile. Personally, having experienced both I don't see the simularities.0 -

Both ignored their own T&C's - similarity 1.
Both started to increase their totally free (100% cashback deals) after ignoring their T&C's - similarity 2.
Timescales are what we agree to, unfortunately BMP don't, hence breaching their own T&C's. Obviously better companies out there who pay quicker and without the use of vouchers.
Don't get me wrong, let's hope they do survive even if only for customers to get what is advertised. But for myself anyway, I've experienced this route before and it was my one and only failure (so far).
If you can afford the expense of losing cashback, then fine. If you can't, then use a "safer" (if there is one) mobile merchant.
I'll be taking out three new contracts for mysef and family during the second half of this year and not a single one will be risked with BMP's - but that's just my personal choice.
Please don't condone a company which chooses to ignore there own T&C's regarding paying cashback yet again.
May be fine for non-cashback or gift deals, though TBH it would be silly using BMP's when cashback sites pay more for other merchants.
