If you don't pay your bills and they mount up the the phone company can demand you repay the value of the entire contract. If this happens they would usually pass it on to a debt collector and pursue you for the amount. Don't worry though this would only normally happen if you miss several payments in a row.
now why didn't they just say that ? :-)

If you don't pay to the network, the company doesn't get the commission from the network and is unable to recover the cost of the 'gifts' and 'administration'. I think this is obvious.

I didn't understand that the 'disconnect for any reason' was connected to payments, it wasn't obvious to me.
  • Hi, with regards to all of the above I am in a similar situation and feel very frustrated but to be honest it is my own fault as I did not read the "t's & c's" in full and take much notice as I thought it would be just like the other cashback deals I've used before. (where I've not experienced these problems).

Basically my wife posted off all the vouchers for our first claim and now we can't get copies or be re issued these vouchers.

Firstly I feel this is very harsh by 'buymobilephones.net' albeit it is stated in their emails. Whatever happened to a little bit of 'good will'?!?!

Anyway, just wondering if anyone knows if it's possibel to get away with a photocopy of someone elses voucher or are they individual? I know I'm clutching at straws here but thought it woudl be worth a try??

    Thanks

They are individual. When goodwill extends to the careless being forgiven and getting their money regardless it will be the deathnell for the superb deals which the rest of us feed off like sharks. It's a harsh world... though it is written (on here) that they have been known to send out replacements (though if I were them I wouldn't...!).

Always save a copy of your vouchers (I scan and email them to keep safe).
One reason why this company should be well down anyone's list when going for a free'ish cashback deal...........best use a voucherless company. Vouchers went out with the Ark!!!!!!!!

I didn't know the were known to re-send replacement vouchers, so thanks MJ.

  • I tool out an 18 month contract on a Samsung Galaxy S last month with T-Mobile through BMP, and have paperless billing with T-Mobile. Do you think it will be acceptable therefore to send off the emailed bills I receive by just printing them off myself? Does anyone have any experience of this?
    Cheers

16.2 Only Original bills or clear, legible photocopies or print-outs of online bills will be accepted.
Don't know how 'emailed' bills look like, but with my provider the bills are available online in pdf format, i.e. identical to the paper bills.

Printed T-Mobile bills are fine nixpix, this is how I send mine.
Only print and send what is required from EACH bill (normally just page 1 and 3, but check in case you have more than one account with T-Mobile like myself - multiple numbers on same bill).

Started two new mobile contracts using BMP, with two free gifts (Ipad 2's). Obviously with the stuff going on in Japan there has been a shortage, so after two weeks no free gifts as yet. Although I have spoken to someone at the Apple store who says there is loads of stock now. I guess it takes time to filter through to third party retailers and then things like BMP would be bottom of the pile. BMP did say that if after 28 days they haven't sent out the Ipad 2's, they would give us the retail cost of the Ipad's so we could buy them ourselves. Does anyone have any experience of this with them? Do they send cheque or instant bank transfer? And also are we likely to be waiting another 28 days on top of that for the money?!

    Any help appreciated, thanks.
