  • There's a couple of other downsides. First, they aren't as large as the main two dealers and so must be higher risk. Second, they don't pay cashback on top (cashback sites) unless you're a new customer. The latter is the reason I haven't added to my fleet via them.

    Just thought id clarify details before i send my first claim.

    Make your claim by sending in:
    - your first five airtime bills (where your first bill is the first correspondence from your network requesting ANY payment) and your first claim voucher within 60 days of the date on your 5th airtime bill;

    On a 24 months contract so going to send first 5 bills. Joined towards end of Sept 10. First bill requesting payment was 29/09/10 even though id been with them them only a few days. So guess that should count as 1st bill. So 29/01 would be my 5th. So going to send all five.

    Therefore even if you have been with them a few days and your bill is produced immediatly, would that count that as 1st bill?
    Know it might be obvious but no harm in asking.

    Also how many and which pages do you send? do you send itemised pages as well?

    You have posted similar messages many times, sometimes twice in the same thread (as well as spammed us with their facebook page/competitions etc).

    As you will have seen from comments in this thread (and across the net) you and your friends and family have been lucky not to have experienced the problems others have.

    But as around 50% of your posts here have been about them, then maybe you have a connection with them?

    I've been Money Tipped!
    As per above, got my e2save cheque on Saturday.
    Received and signed for 11th Feb, quick text acceptance and cheque arrived on 19th Feb.

    That's how it's done BMP;

    Only 1 bill
    No vouchers
    No long wait

    The only positive for me with BMP is they pay straight into your bank - does seem strange e2save can't do this..............yet.

    I've been over the last few pages, but it just seems to be mainly arguing :( If I follow the procedure as quoted here "
    16.1.2 Line rental refunds for 18 month contracts, text pack/bundle refunds and cash backs will be paid in five equal amounts on timely redemption of each of the five claim vouchers (supplied with your mobile phone), with the appropriate network bills.
    Make your claim by sending in:
    - your first four airtime bills (where your first bill is the first correspondence from your network requesting ANY payment) and your first claim voucher within 60 days of the invoice date on your 4th airtime bill;
    - your 5th, 6th 7th and 8th airtime bills and your second claim voucher within 60 days of the invoice date on your 8th airtime bill;
    - your 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th airtime bills and your third claim voucher within 60 days of the invoice date on your 12th airtime bill;
    - your 13th, 14th and 15th airtime bills and your fourth claim voucher within 60 days of the invoice date on your 15th airtime bill;
    - your 16th, 17th and 18th airtime bills and your fifth claim voucher within 60 days of the invoice date on your 18th airtime bill.
    All claims should be received within the time period set out on each voucher. Bills received after the period specified will not qualify for line rental refunds or cash backs. Each bill must show that your tariff has not changed since the time of connection.
    16.1.3. Line rental refunds for 24 and 36 month contracts, text pack/bundle refunds and cash backs will be paid in six equal amounts on timely redemption of each of the six claim vouchers (supplied with your mobile phone), with the appropriate network bills.
    Make your claim by sending in:
    - your first five airtime bills (where your first bill is the first correspondence from your network requesting ANY payment) and your first claim voucher within 60 days of the invoice date on your 5th airtime bill;
    - your 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th airtime bills and your second claim voucher within 60 days of the invoice date on your 10th airtime bill;
    - your 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th airtime bills and your third claim voucher within 60 days of the invoice date on your 14th airtime bill;
    - your 15th, 16th and 17th and 18th airtime bills and your fourth claim voucher within 60 days of the invoice date on your 18th airtime bill;
    - your 19th, 20th and 21st airtime bills and your fifth claim voucher within 60 days of the invoice date on your 21st airtime bill;
    - your 22nd, 23rd and 24th airtime bills and your sixth claim voucher within 60 days of the invoice date on your 24th airtime bill." should I then expect to receive a refund as long as I claim on these dates?

    I ask as they have an insanely cheap deal, involving a Nokia 2730, 300 minutes, 300 texts and 1GB of data
  • I agree that their refund requirements are a bit of a pain. That said I and my son have used them several times. I have had no trouble getting paid, it does take about 6 weeks, but my claim has always been accepted within a day or two. Since they are almost the only ones doing completely free deals (now 18 months rather than 12) I'll continue to do business with them, as long as that is the case. I've had free phones (albeit fairly basic ones) and practically paid nothing for 3 years. I sold one of the phones and am actually in profit on this contract. I know the old saying that if it seems too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true, but in this case there doesn't seem to be a catch so long as you are organised.
    Before you ask I have no connection with the firm whatsoever, and am one of the world's sceptics.
  • Then your neighbour should have used either hand, read the t&c, submitted their claims correctly and sued if the payments failed to arrive as promised.

    14. Early Termination of Air Time Contracts / Changing of Tariffs

    14.1. Our offers with monthly contract phones and packages are totally dependant on the tariff selected therefore:-
    14.1.1. In the event that you are disconnected from your network for any reason within the period of your minimum term contract, you will be invoiced for the minimum sum of 240 GBP plus VAT per handset to cover the costs of the goods provided, loss of income and administration. Invoices will referred to Daniels Silverman Limited. All charges and legal fees incurred will be the responsibility of the customer and will be legally enforceable.

    If you don't pay your bills and they mount up the the phone company can demand you repay the value of the entire contract. If this happens they would usually pass it on to a debt collector and pursue you for the amount. Don't worry though this would only normally happen if you miss several payments in a row.
