If it means that they couldn't offer these deals, then so be it. If they stop offering the deals, people won't be caught out by them.
I don't take out these deals, I already said that.
The people who get "caught" only have themselves to blame.
Why should the rest of us suffer because of their inadequacy?

Jennyfive:- "What I said doesn't mean I "miss" the point, what I said was an opinion that the way the deals are operated is disgusting. I know fine well that the retailer wants a way not to have to pay out, that's what I think is disgusting. If it means that they couldn't offer these deals, then so be it. Good for you - but I take out dozens and it would be "disgusting" to be denied the right to do so to protect the people who can't be bothered to read and follow the t&c. No-one is forced to take out these deals and the right to have a choice is more important than making sure that people don't pay less than you do for the same thing!0 -

if you mother died do you think you would be sat watching the calender dates tick by? how about if you were losing your job or had medical problems?
For the record i've read the terms and conditions and it doesnt state anything about invalidating claims, I was just wanting to check if others had issues as we know, what something reads in the terms and what actually happens are two different matters.0 -

That's only the case if you allow a dealer to get away with breaking them.
As for the rest; when someone tries to deny the right of others to choose to use cashback contracts because they themselves don't use them they should expect a reaction from the people who do successfully use them. The post wasn't talking about some sort of exceptional circumstances at all (merely about "the way" they are "operating") - and in any case that is for each person to weigh up and if they took the attitiude of "what if" there are many other things (which no doubt they don't have a problem with) that they would also not do.... just in case.
Methinks it is you who have no idea of "what is going on" or you would know the answer to your own question without having to ask it and attack others who (for some strange reason) do.0 -

Hi, thats quite true and I suppose we shouldn't really be educating them how to successfully get their cashback because we are then ensuring that our cashback income source will eventually stop.
Long live everyone who doesn't read the terms and conditions.0 -
I think you need to calm down, personally I know full well the rules and have done these deals for years, but spouting off about people being stupid and inadequate when you have no idea about what is going on in there lives is the actions of a moron.
Dunno why you being so abusive? Calling a poster "moron" is unnecessarily so, and can be offensive too.
And I haven't referred to you (or anyone else) as being "stupid". Maybe you'd retract that.
In fact my post was clearly in reply to points/opinions raised by someone else!0 -
Just waiting for my next payment (within 14 days from the 9th Feb.) - sent beginning of Jan.
Last ever contract with this mob (I hope) - they take far too long to pay and together with the voucher makes this company (BMP) one of the worst.
Claim in with e2save end of last week, quickly accepted and acknowledged by text and probably will still be paid before BMP.
No need for all this garbage.

My redemption claims with BMP have always been paid on the exact day they were due.0

I always have been paid, though they have had to be pushed sometimes when they have actually breached their own T&C's.
The problem with BMP (as I see it) is that you have to send off all bills (not just the month you are claiming like e2save or mobiles.co.uk), BMP require a voucher unlike the others quoted and others pay/can pay in under 2 weeks (BMP can take around 4 times longer).
Incidentally, just checked my bank and payment has been received early, a nice change for once. This is their only positive for me, the fact that the redemption is paid direct into my bank - instead of a cheque.
For myself anyway, they need to match others, as for a similar deal I would always look elsewhere first.
