Just received my third and final payment for two 12 month free contracts (me and mrs s), £840 in total for the year. No problems at all.

Unfortunately the 12 month deals are now one per household so will have to get one elsewhere but will definitely be sticking with buymobilephones for one of our contracts.

Interested to read your post - can you help me please?

I've recently sent my first cashback claim to BMP but haven't had any acknowledgement of receipt yet. Can you let me know if they do let you know whether the cashback claim has been received and do they give you any idea when you can expect the BACS transfer. Thanks.

    you have a PM

They acknowledged and approved my latest claim by e-mail 8 or 10 days after I sent the paperwork.

Their message said payment can take upyo 56 days.

I'm trying to get a new mobile contract and have found the best deal on www.buymobilephones.net it's a cashback deal of £360, and effectively my phone and calls will be free if I get all my money back at the end of the term.

But as I never heard of this website before so a bit hesitated to place the order, does anyone have experience of their cashback deals? Any advice will be much apprecaited.

There is a lot of mixed feedback on this particular outfit in the earlier posts on this thread. Read those and make up your own mind. Some other distributors seem to be more reliable than bmp.net.

This had probably been posted before somewhere, but a good comparison site for various distributors is www.onecompare.com.
  • Thanks to all, well I have read the thread carefully, and have to say.........I have decided not to go for this website as this deal is actrually for my friend, so don't want any problem happening to the cash back. Have done another search and now found the second best deal from dialaphone, but it works out 180quid for a 12 months contract, not too good comparing to 0! But better than nothing.
  • It all depends, of course, on the particular handset you want, but there are lots of "free" deals (i.e. effectively no line rental) out there.

If you haven't signed up anywhere yet, check hotukdeals.com. There were a couple of links to very good phone deals on there at the end of last week. Those came from one of the distributors with better customer feedback.

Has anyone used them before? How reliable are they? How good are they at paying cashbacks? Are they are good?

The interesting aspect of their T&Cs are :

"Automatic cash back will be paid by BACs directly into the bank account set up for the ddm collection of the customers mobile phone airtime bill. This payment will be made automatically approximately 30 days after connection. There are no redemption vouchers and there is no need for the customer to make a claim."

    Do they really do that?

I have used them before and yes they do pay by Bacs. Just to let you know that you cannot change your account that they pay the money into once you sign up. I claimed and recieved all my moneyback so far without no hassle. I did have to send my bills tho as they are part of my T&c's.

but it says customer doesnt need to make a claim in their T&Cs?

I noticed the following as well:

"Make your claim by sending in your voucher together with your first five airtime bills within the time period set out on the first voucher, your following two airtime bills with your second voucher and your next two airtime bills with your third voucher .Finally your last three airtime bills with your fourth voucher. All claims should be received within the time period set out on each voucher. "

which of course contradicts with when they say:

"There are no redemption vouchers and there is no need for the customer to make a claim"

Clauses 16.1. and 16.2 refer to contracts where bills must be returned to claim cashback. Clause 16.6 refers to contracts where cashback is automatic and bills do not need to be returned to claim cashback.

16.6 does not apply if you are taking out a contract where bills must be returned to claim cashback.
