  • The vouchers come with the phone and all other paperwork. If you go away for three months, that should not be a problem. BMP are usually quite fast on shipping if the phone you want is in stock.

Does anyone know if they actually have a manager in BMP? I tried to get hold of one, but no joy so far. been put on hold for eternity, before i give up and hung up.

No replies to emails sent either.

I wanted to contact them regarding their unfair practises, but obviously, they dont want to be contacted. T&C said: i should contact the 'duty manager'. I doubt that this person exist. :(

    Hi guys.

Thought I would give my experience with them.

I started an 18 month £30 pm Orange contract in June 2006 with full cashback for the 18 months. I did this via Reesits Muttons site.

Cashback was then payable in 3 stages – over 12 months – even though the contract was for 18 months. The new T&C’s gives 18 month cashback over the 18 months now I think.

I have had two paid claims so far. They paid the cashback exactly 56 days after receiving each claim.

I am just sending my last claim today - and I expect no problems.

My contract with Orange still has 6 months to go but I would have had the 18 x £30 back from BMP.

So all-in-all a great deal – just had to pay extra mandatory Detailed Billing of £1.99 pm.

Less than £36 for a free phone, 200 xnet anytime mins and 750 texts pm for 18 months. Don’t think it can be beaten!!!!!! If fact I didn’t even need the new phone and sold it on eBay for more than the £36!!

I would have no problems dealing with BMP again.

As with any cashback scheme, just be organised.

On the day my first documentation arrived, I got an A4 envelope – wrote on the outside – in broad pen – each month for the billing and the dates the cashback needs to be sent to back. As each bill arrived I placed it in the envelope and crossed it off. I told everyone in my house to look out for my monthly Orange bill and not lose it! As the last bill arrived for that cashback period - I sent the bills and a covering letter.

Each claim I sent SPECIAL DELIVERY. Ok – it costs £4.30 BUT the documents they contain are worth £180 to me – so it was worth it. Special Delivery is far more secure than Recorded Signed for, in that Special Delivery items are kept separate from normal mail whereas Recorded items go with ordinary mail and can easily be lost. Ok, you can still claim from the Post Office but who needs the extra hassle.

So, all I need do now is look for a new deal in 6 months time!!!
I say barkeep -put at little more ice in there will you - theres a good chap. :)

Used BuyMobilePhones for a Vodafone contract. The 1st cashback asks for the 1st 5 bills. However the 1st Vodafone bill I received was kind of two months in one. How does that work then? The invoice number has 001 on the end so shall I just wait for 4 more bills and then send them off? Thought someone would have dealt with this before. Thanks.
  • I had a contract with myself and my wife. We both have finished 12 months. I received all the cash back and just got a call yday to take bank details for the last payment of my wifes contract. Although they had these datails all these while, I was not sure why they asked for. Let us see as I am quite positive with my cashback experience.

When I brought, we had to send 4 monthly bills and invoice copy but I have now seen that their cash back terms has changed with more confusing claim periods like other companies.

I got my claims back compared to others like phoneboxdirect and coolnewmobile which I have written my experience in their resective threads.

Like I had posted earlier, this is an update that we have now successfully completed 2 contracts, me and my wife and received the whole cash back without problems although they take about 2 months to pay. But still worth.
I would definetly recommend this company having had bad experiences with Phonebox direct and Coolnew mobile who will outrightly say they havent received anything. Beware of them.

I currently have the following problem with buymobilephones.net...

this is my first cash back claim with this contract, sent off my first four airtime bills and my voucher (via recorded) and not heard anything, i sent a mail off yesterday and got this reply back today....

Your cash back claim was declined as you did not
    > adhere to the terms and
    > conditions which clearly state we need your 1st 4
    > bills and claim
    > voucher whereas you only sent in 1 bill and voucher
    > this is not what our
    > terms state and this or any other claim will not be
    > paid as per our
    > terms state that you agreed to when placing the
    > order.

now i definatley sent the first four bills to them, i still have the photo copies here in front of me, how do i prove that i did in fact put all four in the envelope and thinking about it, couldn't they do this to loads of people and get out of paying any cashback.

would love some advice on what to do next. And if its my word against theirs what can be done to prove my side...

Furthe rto my issue i had with BMP reestit managed to get them to send me my first claim, although i'm happy with how he has sorted out for me I do feel that If he hadn't have helped me then i would have took them to a small claims court. Reestit suggested that for future i photographed all the contents of the letter bills, voucher and outside of the letter and then send it off, which i will do , but i don't think i will risk the hassle factor in next time. But it doesnt seem they are out to con people as people have obviously recvd the money there due. fingers crossed mine gets paid in although i did receive confirmation from BMP that it would be paid in 56 days.

thanks once again reestit, for your help and guidance...

    OK. Here we go.................

I already have a contract with T-Mobile and have had for the last 15 years or so.

When I ordered a phone from BMP.net the deal was on T-Mobile.

Unfortuantely T-Mobile do not send out separate bills per line/contract. All you will get is 1 bill with a grand total at the bottom. Yes, the bill is totally itemised (as so far as different lines are concerened) but it would be nice if I could get separate bills per line/contract.

Anyway, as with most of these companies, they will put so many restrictions in that they are trying to catch you out so as not to pay you the money.

Being very effecient with my paperwork, I was able to send in the correct bills at the correct time BUT because I already had a contract with T-mobile my fiirst bill already had a previous payment made to them on it.

BMP.net immediately thought that i had sent them the wrong bills and were not willing to pay out the monies owed to me.

After numerous emails goig backwards and forwards they admitted that it was there fault and that they would pay me the money.

I did threaten to take them to the small claims court to get my money if necessary. So, the moral of the story is, BMP.net are ok as long as you have your wits about you.

BIG BIG TIP FOR YOU ALL
Do NOT send your bills using recorded delivery. I would highly recommend that you use the Special Next day service which will cost £5. This will guarantee that you can get it there without it getting lost and at least you know it will get there the next day. Also, a friend of mine (who is a solicitor told me that if the letter did get lost then the compensation would cover the entire 12 month contract). BMP.net like to try and get out of paying all the cashback payments ie. If you mess up your first cashback claim they will not honour the next two cliams.

    I really hope this helps.
