  • Hi, I found an amazing deal on mobilephones.net - all they asked for was a £100.00 deposit that would be refunded at the end of my contract - that was on the 19th of March. It is now the 10th of April, and I am still waiting for my phone. They never respond to emails or messages to get in touch. I have requested to speak to a supervisor, who seems to be never there. BEWARE, this is not a good website to use!
  • The site isn't dodgy! I ordered a phone from them nearly 18months ago, with a free ps3. Phone came within 2 days, but the ps3 was out of stock- they e-mailed me a week later saying that the ps3 will be with me the next day- which it was!! The phone and ps3 are both still going strong!

I have used them and service was excellent and everything I was promised I received! I had a new phone via them 3 years ago a second 2 years ago and another 2 last October! If you opt for the free gift as apposed to cash back it does take a couple of weeks for the free item to arrive but the cash back has always been credited straight into my bank account! ;-)

Phones ordered were Blackberry, Sony erricsson,Blackberry and a HTC!
If the item is out of stock then they aren't great at notifying you, as my freebie was late I called them and they explained it was on back order and it came through a week or so later! I think if your item hasn't shown phone them rather than email!
    ;-)

With cashback deals things change. E2Save is a classic example of just how far. My own experience of this dealer was quite good, but then they lied to me about being turned down by a network on an order and I have seen a lot of similar feedback on this forum by others having a similar experience. When challenged through the proper channels they chose to ignore it and I would never say they are a "safe" place to go. They are small and should they disappear so would your money. Whether they will is unknown; but they aren't as safe as larger dealers (who should at least be there to sue should it be necessary).

I have 2 contracts currently with Buymobilephones.net, the 1st cashback was sent recently and I've had emails saying they have been approved, just have to wait a month for the payment now

My 1st claim has just been paid, the 2nd was sent off today, so far no complaints and no reasons to think they won't pay my remaining claims.

I pre-ordered TWO HTC Desire phones on T-Mobile.
£25 pm, but £21 for first seven months, free mobile, unlimited internet, 600 minutes.

21 days later, after order and watching the stock date get postponed by three days, every three days. I am yet to receive any phone, nor confirm any delivery date, nor have they yet completed a credit check.
The only think they have done, is taken monies from my bank account.

At the same time, several friends did not pre-order but just went on any random website, ordered and received phone next day. Such a awfully manged company, that sells items when they don't have them in stock and do not know when they will do again.

What should my next step be? all I want is the HTC Desire phones with similar deal above.
Should I contact T-Mobile? (buymobilephones, say they have orange ones ready to dispatch)
    Should I contact HTC?
Should I cancel my order, and if so will they give me refund?

From their website regarding the Desire

"We are also expecting stock on TMobile next week. They have given us the date of Wednesday the 5th of May, but customers waiting for this handset should be aware that the dates provided by T-Mobile have already been pushed back on two occasions and initial supply will be limited.
We would like to thank all customers ordering on T-Mobile for your patience and we apologise for the delay. We are doing all we can to secure these handsets and get your Desire out to you."

I ordered a Blackberry 8900 from them last Thursday lunchtime and it was delivered at 7:30 next morning, so if they have the handsets in stock they do deliver. The Desire seems very popular at the moment.

Either that or the marketing department is trying to make demand synonymous with its name

    Hi

I used this company for the first time after reading this thread. The deal was too good to be true. On T Mobile with a free phone, and a free 8Gb Ipod Touch.

Received the phone within 2 days. After sending them the proof of identity and voucher, I received an email acknowledgement the next day informing me that the item was currently out of stock and that I should receive it within 28 days.

A week later I received an email telling me that it had been despatched for next day delivery.

I received it yesterday - so very happy with buymobilephones.net and even got £30 quidco cashback to top it off.

I've seen some people saying here that BMP are a bit slow at paying.

Generally, how long have people been recieving payments for cashback? Two weeks ago I got an email saying my claim had been accepted, and they would BACS me the cash within 14 days, but still no payment has shown up.

Will it come, or do I need to go visit them with an angry look on my face?
