    I today received an email stating te following from bmp:

    "We are happy to confirm that we have received your free gift claim and it has been approved. Thank you.

    The gift you have chosen is not currently available for immediate dispatch from our warehouse. We endeavour to fulfil all free gift claims within a maximum of 28 days, however we are receiving regular deliveries and expect to have your free gift available very soon.

    We guarantee that as soon as your gift is available, we will dispatch it for free next-working-day delivery and send you an email advising you of your delivery date.
    "

    Has anyone else had this and do you seem to wait long for your "free gift"?

    Thanks, Matt
  • I bought a phone off them last night - £25 a month 500 mins 600 texts unlimited blackberry email and a Blackberry Curve 8900 (£19.99). It's been approved this morning and should be arriving tomorrow.

    After everything i've read about free gifts and cashback issues ect I decided to just get a cheap contract and none of the 'gifts' lets hope it goes well!

    I very quickly got a reply when I sent a query about the delayed TV;

    "Thanks for your email.

    We are expecting a delivery of the 26" HD TV's imminently, we apologise for the delay."

    Let's hope it's a genuine stock shortage, but I feel it will be OK.

    Fingers crossed, Matt.

    I just got refused one of their current (seemingly) excellent deals - T-Mobile, £200 instant cashback, free phone, unlimited this and that which would work out at about £5.80 /m over two years.

    There should be no issues with my credit file, and an experian check this evening shows no recent credit checks.

    They happily sorted out a £40/m Orange contract for me last year, but I suppose there was not enough commision in this current advertised deal

    Incidentally, if they refuse you and direct you to the experian link on their website to sign up to check your credit file, then don't click on their link, but go through quidco instead .... you get 50p, but more so, bmp don't get any referal commision

    Just got my HD TV today, that combined with getting an 86% on my first assignment of my Masters made it a pretty good day! It turned out to be a 1 day delay in them geting stock of the TV's, to be honest I feared the worst but it turned out OK.

    I went for a £200 automatic cashback deal with NOkia 1661 £15 a month on a 24 month contract. Nowhere in the emails or paperwork received with the phones confirms the cashback. worried a bit and called their CS on Saturday...was advised they had a problem wiht the server and was told when their Tech team is back in the office on Monday they will rectify it. Surely not a company you can trust with. if you knew you had a problem with servers, first thing you should do is to scruitinise all the contracts that went through between your server outage. rather they wait unitl the customer reports to them. A very hit and miss company IMO.
