selling your stuff on Amazon...part three...

Usually they will be pro-merchants who aren't paying the 86p per item fee to Amazon, so will get 1p plus the postage allowance, which after Amazon's percentage and p&p does leave a small profit.

Sold 2 at last! Am going to try the pro merchant for a month, going by last months sales I would have been around £25 better off even after paying the merchant charges. Am keeping my fingers crossed that things carry on as they are though now DS bed is sorted am wondering what to save for next!

Well I'm POSTING!!!!! CAN YOU HEAR ME!!!!!! Our sales have been very slow despite getting some more free books. We've still got loads to list even from the first lot of free books ages ago but some need to go on ebay and our ebaying skills are very rusty!!!

Here's hoping to loads of overnight sales!!

Can you try it for one month only becky? I'd have been a lot richer when the pro-seller thing was mentioned by apprentice and others ... but I'm not sure I'd have had the volume of sales, despite my 3 a day and at most 7 a day

I think/hope so! My understanding is I can cancel at any time, my subscription started yesterday and if i cancel today my merchant account would revert back to normal account when my months subscription expires. Will have a stroke if it doesn't work like that and I'm stuck with it for a year or something!

becky - you're OK! you CAN cancel at any time, just make sure that you cancel before the 8th of any month because you'll be billed for it on the 9th and then you're in for another month

Been trying to list a book on amazon this morning, but it won't let it submit - keeps telling me there is an error which I can't see. Anyone else having the same problem?

The only thing I can see that's weird is that there is a ? instead of a £, but I can't amend that.

Nothing on the Amazon discussion forum either.
