What are the best auctions to look out for when I find some? Do you sell really old books soo because every auction I find only sells old books?0
-
nutty, I was lucky to find my auction and no I don't sell old books, in fact all the old pre 1950s stuff I get I take straight away to the charity shop. There is something about those old books that make me shiver and I can't get them out the house soon enough, daft I know
Anyway, I was watching a programme on the TV one morning about debt and in that programme they took away some stuff and gave it to an auctioneer to value. This auctioneer was saying how little everything was worth and in the background I could see the name. I looked them up on the net and found an address (no website), phoned them up and was told about the auctions. Turned out they are very local to me.
This auction sells repossesed items along side bankrupt stock and usual auction stuff, and I understand that these sort of places exist all over the country. Since finding this place I notice they also advertise in the local papers, so try looking in your local papers first, or in your yellow pages or local telephone directory.

Juno, I'm afraid that I don't know. I'd have a look at the Amazon sellers forum and see if you can see anything there. You can find it on the right hand side of your selling account page, it's called 'seller connections'.0

Hi smartcat - good idea, the front page doesn't look the same without it! when it slips on to page two I always assume that it's because everyone is happy with no probs to report.....maybe no great triumphs either but you can't have everything0
