    Hi

Just been in my loft and found a load of stuff to but on Amazon eBay.

But I have found cassettes and video’s I can’t find any were on Amazon were they tell you how much you will get for postage. Can any one help me find this? Also were can I find out what percentage they take?

Also why do people sell stuff for 1p ????? I have found some old pc games that I never play on but people are selling them for 1p will there be any point me selling them?

I haven’t sold on eBay so I was wondering will people buy of me with no feedback?

Thanks nutty and thanks for any help

nutty, the very best thing about Amazon is that you can type in all the info and go right to the final screen and it tells you exactly what you will get 'in hand' . If it isn't enough to cover postage and make a profit just flip back and increase th eprice and try again. Yes I lnow it is the lazy way of doing it, but it works for me! :T

AS for ebay, today is a 10p listing day, so it might be worth putting up a few cheap items to give them a try. Even without feedback if something is cheap enough some people will buy.

I'm pleased for you jo_b but very jealous. I sold one last night and not a hint of another sale today.

Tee hee, it was only a £7 book and heavy to post, so I came out with about £3 in hand. It has convinced me though that I have absolutely no idea what sells and what doesn't. This was from a mixed box, it was a toss up whether it went on Amazon or straight to the charity shop and in the end I decided to try it for 60 days. The other stuff that I was convinced would sell.....is just sitting there...

So if you want advice about what sells ask me, then do the opposite :rotfl:

  • my run of sales has well and truely dried up - only sold one thing all week - glad i didnt go for pro-merchant yet then

and have taken a load of 1p books to the charity shop - we havent got the room to store them all - only 4 more boxes to sell and then maybe i can start to check out charity shops for resale :rotfl:
