In case a mod sees this and cares, the answer to question 18 needs updating since it would now cost 7.95p per minute rather than 7.6p per minute for the second hour of the call (see page 4 of this document: http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumer/assets/downloads/BT_PhoneTariff_Residential.pdf).
This was an interesting quiz, which I only managed to get 16/25 right on. And that was after quite a while with an Excel spreadsheet working out some of the answers!0 -
16/25, but the ones I didn't know & made my best guess on were things I'd never do, I used a calcluator for a few answers.
e.g.
Relative values of loyalty point, I'm pretty disloyal, I go where its cheaper & prefer to hide my buying habits from supermarkets.
Credit card repayments, I've never have a credit card debt, the insurance angle doesn't interest me, never had a problem with stuff I've bought.0 -
Your MoneySaving IQ is...
12/1
How that compares:
88296 people have taken the quiz
43.8% scored more than you
3.8% scored the same as you
52.4% scored less than you
MONEY IQ SCORE: 1020 -
wow stunned I scored 145 off the top of my head! So, I am definitely learning on here and all that reading has gone into my brain cell:rotfl:0
-
Scored 120, really pleased with that as I raced through the whole thing.
Thanks mse.63 mortgage payments to go.
Zero wins 2016 😥0 -
I got 13 but with an IQ of 147, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
-
I got 144
I was weakest at bill beating (not shocking seeing as bills are included in my rent!) and best at consumer rights (again, not shocking as I work for a retailer!)
I don't agree with how vague question 12 is though. I used to call 0800 numbers on Orange and they were included in my free minutes. Maybe it costs more on pay as you go but I think that should be specified!Hi. I'm a Board Guide on the Gaming, Consumer Rights, Ebay and Praise/Vent boards. I got 23/25 and an IQ of 200
97195 people have taken the quiz
0.2% scored more than you
0% scored the same as you
99.8% scored less than you Amazed I got such a high score as a few were guesses (e.g. premium bonds and the cost of a BT phone call). I got the one about a 10 minute phone call and the petrol wrong0 -
They've got the answer to no. 23 wrong. Paying for gas/electricity by direct debit isn't guaranteed to cut your bills. I'm with EBI Co, and they charge the same however you pay, even if your using a card meter.0
-
I got 17 (out of 0 apparently) and an IQ of 165.
I'm really happy with that, as most of the questions weren't relevant to me at all. There was one I got wrong that annoyed me but that was me miscalculating the maths (and not using a calculator despite knowing mental arithmetic is almost impossible for me).Purple Penguin Power!
