Answers to an awful lot of those questions I genuinely learnt from Martin!
Despite being for fun, it was enlightening for me to see just how far I've come in Moneysaving terms over the last four years on this siteand my initial induction via Martin's appearances yonks ago on This Morning. It all started with "generic" medicines
I'd never have got anywhere near so many right back then - this is all important stuff!
I got 18/25 - A moneysaving IQ of 171. Kicked myself over several but two in particular that I really knew if i'd have considered longer.
Thanks Martin!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I only got 13/25 - dissapointing since I thought I was a good moneysaver - however there were some silly mistakes there. Lots of my answers I have learned from this site.
Q25 was difficult or me - I said answer C because I thought if it was a used camera then the shop wouldnt have to do anything. And when it says 'warranty', all new items get 12 months warranty when buying from the UK, so it would have to have a warranty for you to return it, agreeing with the answer to question C.
I must be wrong though0 -
16/25 144 IQ
Made some stupid errors though :j0 -
Martin your marking of answers has big errors. My score was 11/25
When I checked though the errors 11 were marked incorrect but underneath they were marked as the correct answer
Therefore my true score was 22 / 25 :T
How are we to know what our true knowledge is when you mark incorrectly?
Sort it out so we really know how much we really know. How many other people have been marked low when they really are great.
Love your information and you are doing a great job as are we your studients when you don't mark us down.
Keep up the good work. :money: You are the best thing in the Money Market.
Hi Sartcott,
Thanks for posting. I've just been looking into this and am confused. If I'm reading your post right, it's actually impossible for this to be happening, as we only wrote one (correct) set of answer explanations.
I've also checked through the quiz and it is displaying the right answers for me. If you could let us have some more details about what it is mixing up, that'd be fab.
Cheers for all the nice comments guys

And, to reward myself, I am eating a FREE cookie.
(It was the nutrigrain free sample on the freebies board a few weeks ago. Was saving it for a special occasion.)
Credit where it's due though, a lot of what I know, I learnt from this site, and Martin's GMTV appearances (thank god for Youtube). So thanks to everyone who posts here.0 -
Question 22 is a bit cheeky isn't it. Still didn't do too badlyNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130

If it's 4p a minute for the second hour plus 6p connection isn't that £2.46 and not £2.35? Where am I going wrong?
My thoughts exactly. No response / comment on here though ...0 -
Hi Martin,
I too have done the Quiz, and scored a rather poor 10/25.
I checked the answers and 11 are marked incorrectly, bringing the score up to a more respectable 21/25!
I have taken screenshots of the incorrect pages and have emailed them to administrator@moneysavingexpert.com.
Thanks

Hi all we've edited the explanation. The call rate is 3.92/min inclusive of VAT over the first 60 minutes. Plus we have checked with BT and you do NOT pay a connection fee on this call. (Connection fees aren't payable on inclusive calls and although you pay extra for this it counts as an inclusive call because the first 60 minutes is free). Thanks for pointing it out!0
