Brilliant quiz - I got 20/25 (some good educated guesses).

Please note - The explanation for Q21 does not take account of recent changes, including the minimum £25 prize.

I got 141, fairly well balanced on areas, I am happy with that.

    Same here! :)

Feeling quite proud of my 17/25 and 172 IQ!

37763 people have taken the quiz
    1% scored more than you
0.2% scored the same as you
    98.8% scored less than you

I don't understand why, though, some other people getting the same score have a lower IQ score. Maybe I am not so intelligent after all!

Probably they took longer to answer the questions than you did!

You can only total £3600 in deposits in one tax year regardless of the amount you withdraw.

This question is unclear on how old the person is. If they were old enough to be 50 or over by 5 April 2010 then the claimed "correct" answer is incorrect now.

    16/25 - 141 - couple of howlers.

my gripe is with the premium bond question - now I suppose I should know when the prize changed to £25 from £50 - but I think the question was worded to test probabilities not the prize scale. no point rewording as that's not fair on those alreadytaken the quiz

  • I was quite pleased that I scored 11/25 with an IQ of 100 as clearly I do not spend enough time on here, but I already knew that.:T

A couple of the questions are ambiguous and need rewording. Q7 I read as 1/3rd off the third packet, not all 3 packets. Q17 I read as asking for the lowest interest payment, not the total interest over the life of the loan.
  • Hello - I believe the ISA allowance has gone up since this 5th April - so, the ISA question on this MSIQ test needs updating in accordance with the new allowance.....
