Companies want our money/business quickly, but when it comes to them paying up, it's a VERY slow process. Should be a law against it. Companies who fail to respond to a customer within 5working days should be sued and the customer compensated. This will help with companies investing money in staff, and keeping customers updated, as the worst thing I find is not knowing where I stand!

Mobile Rainbow always say "we'll pay within 7-10working days" and its with the "concerned department".

Even if they have accepted the claim but just fail to pay within the agreed time frame?

    Of course.

If you failed to send your claim in the agreed time frame what would happen?
  • You're right. They always reply "we'll pay within 5-7 working days" and its with the "concerned department". What have you done yourself to get your cashback? I've received mine but theatening to sue them hasn't worked for my husband yet.

I've taken 2 contracts with MobileRainbow, and although I've complained to them alot with phone calls EVERYDAY after the 28days (at the time), they did pay me all my cashbacks. The thing I hated was them lying to me, saying that I'll get it within 5-7working days, etc.... when I didn't! Still kept pestering them though for updates daily.

I've currently got another contract with them and the 1st cashback (6th month bill) is due soon, so I'll be submitting my paperwork to them next month. Will give them exactly 45days to pay up, and on the 46th day, I will be making a claim via the small claims court.
  • Hi katwas_com...I will also be sending of my first claim soon.I know you have to send off the first six bills but what else do you send, because i have no vouchers and the t&cs are saying now you have to send your dispatch note with the relevent bills....... plz help...cheers:beer:
  • I have tried to claim my third cash back and the company seems to have disappeared. I was due it end of July, but still nothing. I spoke to them on Saturday, does anybody know where they have gone??????????

Hey. I would contact MobileRainbow and ask them to clarify exactly which documents you need to send, as it's best to get it right. They continuously change their T&C's to confuse customers, so contact them directly and also get them to make a note on your account that you spoke to them. This way, they have no excuse not to pay out the cash to you.

I will be calling MobileRainbow end of this month regarding my cashback documents. Good luck.
  • ive rang them a number of times to say that my first cashback claim is well over the 45 working days and still have not received it but they keep saying we will send you a cheque in 45 working days but it never does!!Have sent them an email saying all this and saying that will be starting a claim against them with the website mentioned by all. But have not had a reply to the email either!!I am so angry at them, my second cashback claim will due to be paid soon, but I have no faith in them if they still have not oaid my first why would they pay my second lot!!

After ringing them a number of times and sending an email can I now go onto that website and start a claim against them?or do i need to send them a letter via recorded delivery giving them a week to pay and then strat the claim?

Any advice or help given will be much appreciated.

    thanks in advance
  • sorry meant to say they keep saying will send you a cheque in 4/5 working days (not 45 working days as i have accidentally written)

I took a contract out with them last year. Got the first two cash backs so far. First by cheque, second by BACS (there are three instalments) Last one was submitted in August so I'm hoping it all goes well.

The first two took a lot of effort and chasing, like others say, they promise to pay then you get nothing and have to chase them again. Good thing they have a free phone number and not an 0870. The first time they even tried to tell me that my claim was denied as I hadn't posted all my bills (I nearly blew a gasket and told them to look again!) I thought I was about to be scammed but 20 minutes later a lady phoned me back and told me they had found the missing pages - kind of restored my faith in them as they checked and rectified the mistake but i was worried.

I also send everything by Special Delivery with a copy of the terms and conditions that were on the website as of Sept 2006 and the terms and conditions they sent me (which slightly contradict each other) as there is no room for error with them.
