    Shadderz, call MobileRainbow and ask for a clear explanation on what the hold up is, and also ask them to confirm how you will receive the payment (cheque or BACS), and the amount of the payment.

    I would definately put in a court claim as they've failed to pay 2 cashbacks to you, and that simply isn't on. Just get them to confirm things with you, and make a note of it for your own records. They should have a record of all the calls you've made to them aswell, so when they receive the court letter, they will be able to look into all the details in depth - and won't have a leg to stand on!   • GOD help me and save me from mobile rainbow.

    First of all I sent my six bills for first cash back, after not hearing anything from them I called them and guess what, I am not eligible for cash back??? Reason is that they only received five bills and did not receive my sixth bill. Well how is it possible when you put all six bills in one envelop and they only receive five, surprising!

    After having long discussions and after many calls they agreed to pay but on one condition that I send them sixth bill within 12 hours. I replied that how is it possible to send you bill within 12 hours because I have to request from network they will take two days and then I will post it to you it will take two more days, and they replied unless you do not send your bill within 12 hours you will not get your cash back.
    But luckily I have online access and got copy from internet and emailed them my bill and got cash back from them.

    Then I send my bills for second cash back instalment again I did not hear anything from them when I phoned after 45 days they told me its 45 working days. I phoned back after 45 working days and they told me that it will take more 25 working days because they have lots of work pending.

    I am waiting for 25 working days to be over then I will phone, see what happens.

    Please what ever you do, do not buy from mobile rainbow, because they are dodgy, liars and not straight with customers.

    Seems like my has been declined, apparently they don't accept ''computer generated'' claims, strange because all this time i have been sending copy versions (from Three website) to Mobile Rainbow but on my last claim they won't accept it AND this gets even more interesting they give you 15 days to send your cashback (Most companys it would be 30 days from the bill) Not just that they still haven't sent my 2nd amount yet, still waiting...and waiting.... funny how they say it would take about 21-45 working days but then when they go over that time period it's OK for them to extend it HOWEVER for us to extend that 15 days (note not even 15 working days) they wont extend and are stubborn to let you re-send another set of copies/originals they don't give you a chance.

    They know our weak spot!

    I'm taking this to court whethe ri lose money or not the fact is about principle - need tips as well though guys!

I've sent emails but i wish i kept my past emails with me, could I use this website as proof that there are numerous claims against them? Can court look at their past history to see claims against them?
  • Read their T&C for sending your claims -

    11.8 Claims received with the photocopies of the bills, scanned copies of the bills, computer generated bills, duplicate bills issued by the network, and photocopies of the vouchers will be rejected.

    So what happens when your originals get ''lost'' in the post? You won't have anythign else to send out. Every other ''decent,reliable'' Companys accept copies why are they any different? E2Save sent my other cashback within 2 weeks last time!

    In fact most (including e2save) now want originals only, meaning that we must use expensive special delivery with consequential loss insurance as a safety net should items get lost in the post.

    Im going to have to double check on E2Save then but even if i do send my originals i have bit of confidence in them. And thankfully, i only send one bill rather than gathering all bills.
  • amz84uk many thanks for your help, I have had about 4 emails all which are similar reasons, such as "some technical problems a few weeks back" and then offer to pay 15 days later-nothing arrives. 1 month later the same reply only 7 working days. I need to build a case and give them an opportunity to pay before I can take it further, which I am currently doing. I will continue to build this case, so they will have no chance.
  • I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone on this thread for all the advice given. Had it not been for this thread, I wouldn't have known about the online courts and would probably still be trying to get Mobile Rainbow to pay up. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, I wish I had done more research on Mobile Rainbow before proceeding.

    Tonight, I have submitted a claim through the online court for all of my cashback and expenses. Initially Mobile Rainbow said they had not received my claim and wanted proof of delivery. Sent proof of delivery and it was sent to the "concerned department" for investigation and that payment would be made in 20-25 working days. Like everyone here, I then started to get the stock standard emails like this one

    We would like to inform you that your cash back has been verified by the cash back department and you can expect the payment within 7 working days.

    So far I have been waiting 89 days for payment from Mobile Rainbow and counting. I am hoping I will get a much quicker turn around through the courts.
