But have not had a reply to the email either!!I am so angry at them, my second cashback claim will due to be paid soon, but I have no faith in them if they still have not oaid my first why would they pay my second lot!!
After ringing them a number of times and sending an email can I now go onto that website and start a claim against them?or do i need to send them a letter via recorded delivery giving them a week to pay and then strat the claim?
Any advice or help given will be much appreciated.
thanks in advance
You've done your part, and gone to extreme lengths. Good thing about MobileRainbow is that they log every call that you make, and update their records. Submit your claim via Money Claim Online immediately. They've failed to pay you within 45 days, and you've sent emails (which obviously you'll have records off). If they can't be bothered replying, you shouldn't be bothered chasing them.
They'll get their act in gear as soon as they receive a nice letterheaded paper from Her Majesty outlining court summons, and you'll be chased by MobileRainbow (oh, how the tables will have turned)! Don't forget to claim the full whack, and also the court fee's (approx £30 i think)!
Good luck.0 -
I have issued 2 court claims to mobile rainbow and still no money.
Spoke to them on Friday asking where my money was and got told they had paid me (online banking dont show it) told them this and got told he would check. Oh so sorry it is being paid today! (Heard that one before) I said as it was late I would only accept payment into my back that day or court proceedings, told them very firmly that unless it was showing in my account that day I would issue a court claim for £140 cashback £50 compensation and £30 court fees. Told them I would give them till close of business that day then issue court claim.
Been told all the excusses being paid 5/10 working days, technical fault, accounts dept are dealing with it, it has been paid, being paid today etc.
When they wanted me to drop court claim I said the department dealing with that is out to lunch and wont be back for the rest of the day, but I would pass their message on, and they may be able to do that within 5/10 working days unless there is a problem or techincal fault. HA HA!
Play them at their own game and they dont like it...0 -

But have you obtained jugements from the court for these claims?
They won't necessarily pay you until ordered by the court to do so. (It costs them no more to await this stage of the proceedings).
It is up to you to request judgement from the court once the time allowed for them to make a defence has elapsed.0 -

Excellent! :-) Don't let them mess you about! You mention that you haven't received 2 of your claims though... when they were chasing you to withdraw the claims, did they say anything about how they were going to settle it though? Or were they expecting you to withdraw the court claim, and take no action with regards to your cashback?0 -
Help! I appear to have been conned by 2 mobile phone cashback deals.
Firstly, Mobile Rainbow have not paid me my cashback cheque despite following all the rules. They continue to say they are having "tehnical updations" but 4 months on and nothing has arrived. DO NOT USE THEM.
Secondly, I have taken out a new cashback deal with MobilePhonesOnTheWeb -but I can no longer get hold of them Their website does not work and their number unobtainable. I have taken out a £40 a month deal with Orange but doubt I will get any money back. Has anyone any helpful advice please?:mad:0 -
You sure do pick 'em! Mobile Rainbow is one of my top three avoid like a barge-poll dealer - suing is the only way they know. The other basically went bust (still to be confirmed - look up the thread on it on here AND the one on Mobile Connections (same company). I'm afraid you've fallen into the very basic traps - many do.0

Anyone with any experience of Mobile Rainbow and MoneyClaim?
I sent off a claim for the full whack on two contracts.
This is now showing as "Acknowledged" - I understand this means that MSOLS have sent off the form to say they have been served, but now, they can enter a defence, or admission
What do they normally do in these circumstances? They have already sent me emails saying I will be paid etc.... before I sent the claim off.

I too now have one claim saying 'acknowledged' and will wait to see what happens.
They have paid £140 plus £30 court fee, but because of all the hassle etc I put a claim in for £50 compensation too, they have not paid this, but will try to pursue this, then maybe they may stop doing this to innocent people and should never get away with it.0 -
I am about to make a case for putting a claim through for a cashback clearance `3` N80 phone, but I am unsure if I have a 10 months cashback or 9 months and cannot proceed with this info. Can anyone help me find out this information, because I have now had multiple excuses and not received any money for my first 2 cashbacks. Any help very much appreciated, because I can then begin proceedings against them.0
