    Thanks Mozzer,
That's exactly what my thoughts are but I have lots of information to take the next step, which is the online claim and it will include any future cashback claims also which for the 4 contracts will be a total of £1680 plus legal costs and hassle/stress/postage etc  Doesn't it make you feel this way.
    THEY WILL NOT WIN. :p

Hi, I don't if I was just a lucky one, but I was with Mobile Rainbow and only had two cashbacks to fax at 6 months and 12 months. I have received both of them without resorting to a court claim. I just found them to be soo slow at dealing with cashbacks, approx 2 months for the first claim and 3 months for the last claim, which I received in February. Needless to say I did not go back to them.

You see thats the problem right there. My first cashback took 3 months too but it shouldn't! The terms and conditions state that it will be paid in 30 days and if it is not they are breaking their side of the contract! If you took more than 15 days to send in your bills then you can bet your life they would not pay you. So why should they be able to do it to you. I have sent in a letter like the one mozzer sent (thanks mozzer!) and in 7 days will commence a small claim against them. They are counting on people giving up trying to get their cashback. Don't let them win!!!!

Does anyone know if this bunch of jokers have ever been featured on watchdog? I was thinking of writing a letter.
  • steve19777 , look the best way to make these jokers pay is put your claim in recorded delivery make sure they get it and if after 30 days you dont have your cash back send them a letter and email giving 7 days to pay up or they are in breach of there contract and when they still havent paid up make a on line claim for all your cashback not just the cashback you are owed but all your claims i did that and got all of it paid into my account 7 days after making a online claim.

    Agree fully with Blaster99999.
A tip is not to spend too much time making a report or case for the small claims court INITIALLY. You only have 24 lines and 1000 odd characters to state your claim.
In effect three paragraphs (I wrote pages in advance, with a complete set of copies of documents- none of which were required).
Experience shows they will pay up only when they receive the court paperwork, -the letter before action will most likely be ignored - they will deny the claim but then pay up immediately - presumably to avoid a judgement against them.

In the very unlikely event of having to go to court you will then have to put the time into assembling all the papers and copies etc.

Hi, guess what, as you said Mozzer, here comes the apology, and what are technical updations. This is their reply:--

They are still trying to delay payment so I have given them 48 hours to pay and told them if they don't I will commence legal action.
    So over to them

Funny enough, I had the same response last week, every single word. Just shows the effort. Never mind.

I always look at who the message has come from; if it is a person then I see that as sincere, just a 'helpdesk' and that is someone hiding from me. :(

    Hi tisme again,
I've just had a phone call from Mobile Rainbow asking for confirmation of bank details and when I said that I wasn't prepared to give out all the details over the phone for security reasons, he asked for part of the account details so I give him the last four numbers of my account and he went on to say the sort code and the first four numbers giving anybody who may be listening all they need to use my account---HOW INCOMPETENT ARE THEY---
They said the money will be in the account in 7-10 days (Ha- Ha)
I asked if they had received my previous e-mail regarding payment within 48hours and they said they had so I told them that as per that e-mail if the money was not in our accounts by the end of tomorrow, to expect a claim through the court.
5 minutes later they rang my wife in work for her bank details, My wife give them the same reply as I had so we'll wait for tomorrow night with anticipation
    Will keep you posted

To be fair just your sort code and account number on their own aren't top secret information; you give them out to anyone you write a cheque to.

they sound incompetent, but not for this.
