I have the paper explaining the Cashback deal though which clearly states that I must send in the entire of my latest bill, and they'll refund within 30 days.
Metalgearal,
I also only sent the latest bill on my first cashback claim. After not hearing anything for a while I phoned them to check whether they had received my claim and everything they needed. It took a few attempts to get through but eventually I did speak to a really helpful guy who said that they needed all of the bills number 1-6 in order to process the claim. He advised me to send them to him with a covering letter and then my claim would be processed. Just before Xmas I received a payment of £100 into my bank, but have to say that was after quite a few e-mails and promises of payments.
I have now sent my 2nd claim for cashback and am currently on the phone trying to get through to find out if all the documents are ok. I have got through once but then got cut off but I'll keep trying!!!
Good Luck0 -
Update.
After getting cut off twice I managed to get through to Msols on my third attempt, after being on hold for a while!!!
They have informed me that they have no record of receiving my 2nd cashback claim even though I sent this by special delivery and it was delivered on 17th January. They said to check back in a few days.
I rang the Royal Mail because on the proof of delivery on the website it doesn't say who signed for it. I was informed that it was delivered but it wasn't signed for as some companies do not signed for them. What was the point in paying extra to send this by special delivery? I have e-mail Royal Mail with this question!0 -

Welcome to MSE Chief_Sam.
If you like to talk when you're tired, I wonder what you're like when you're asleep! <grin>
Reestit MuttonFor anyone wishing to contact me privately to ask me a question, can I ask that you email me directly as my PM box is often full.0 -
Mobile Rainbow are bizarre. They paid in my 3rd cashback to me instantly along with £30 to cover court fees, and then filed a defense against my claim stating they'd already paid all the money (admitting to paying the court fees too!).
Perhaps they just don't want to "lose" the case. Either way, got my money so I'm happy.0 -

I just read your post, Is Msols Mobile rainbow by chance. As i ahd 9k nicked from my credit card last christmas. Its the first time anything has ever happened to me and I wondered where on earth someone could have got all the infor to do a balance transfer from my zero balance card to a fake account. Then after talking to a colleague who had followed my lead and ordered a phone from Mobile rainbow everyone in his office, himself and me all ahd fraudulent transactions after ordering a phone from them. This is an alleged speculation but is a big coincidence would you not agree! fraud ranged from goods ordered online too bal transfers.0

Myself and colleagues have all had 12 mnths foc contracts with Mobile rainbow. So far we have all had our cashbacks paid in full. I even sent my claim by fax ( did it recorded as well) as i was allowed to on original deal as printed on website.
I always send in forms with cover letter which gets ignored usually and i have to sort out something or other like they pay out too little as they thought i was on the 3x rebate claim not x which would be a higher amount. I aways ring in late afternoon on the 0800 number and usually get through right away.
We did have reason to speculate the honesty of there call centres (allegedly) there was illegal activity on 5 cards of seperate people i know in office who ordered a phone with them. big coincidence if its not some rogue within there midst (allegedly you understand)
I am out now but am getting back in with them. they`ve got 0800 number for moaning, they usually take a while to pay but we all got it in the end and better the devil you know. Bottom line I `ve had a good run and as long as you do it by the book print off there web pages when you order phone and flash them a county court summons i`m sure you can get it back eventually. Worth the hassle when you got 3 sep phones on £45 a month deals.
assuming they dont go through. i hear they recorede only 10,000 profit in last years returns. apparently the structure of copany and call centre supports some other busness they have. Its three asian brothers who own it at companies house. good luck to them if they can stay afloat long enough for my rebate.0 -
it seems people are still having lots of problems in getting their cashback.
I have a 'Three' contract through Mobile Rainbow last year, actually did get all my cashback.....though they are never on time. The first cashback was a month late (I waited for 2 months after I made the claim, which suppose to be one month), the second cashback I just received last week, which was 2+ months late (it supposes to reach me in November). Anyway I am quite happy that I received all my cashback.
This year I am taking up another Orange contract with Mobile rainbow, hope it doesn't fail me. But it seems the term and conditions keep changing and the claim process seem to getting more complicated(last time i only need to send my 6th and 12th bill, and cashback through bank a/c).
By the way, I actually didn't go through all those trouble you guys mentioned here(like court case, phone call whatever), just send a email to confirm they receive my claim, and a couple of enquiry emails when the cashback didn't arrive on the expected date. They do reply those email quite efficiently(within one or two day), usually saying there is techincal problem with them system(though i don't really understand why everytime there is problem with their system) .0
