  • Did not mean to press thanks for posting last message, but good luck with that.

Just thought I would update you on my case as had a slight twist in that a few days after getting the money into my bank, I logged on to Claims Online to withdraw my claim and found that MR had put in a defence to my claim, so was unable to withdraw it. A few days later the court sent me their defence bleating on about how the cash-back should be paid over 18 months, but in good faith they had paid all the money. All I had to do was tick a box saying claim settled and sent it back to the court. I mention the above as again this goes to show that this company is totally stupid, they really had no reason to submit a defence as they paid all the money. This is a bit of a rant, but just wanted to let others out there to know what to expect. It feels good too know that I don't have to muck about with any more cash-back applications :j It has put me off using cash-backs, in fact it has made me wonder how much the networks pay these cowboy companies in commission and why they don't just make their own deals cheaper.

  • Update on 6 month cash back claim from 3 mobileshop

My recorded delivery threat of court action and a claim for the full 12 months of cashback was received on Monday 13th November.

£122.50 6m cashback received this morning 15th November.

It's cost an extra £4.10 for the recorded delivery court threat.

Pity is, I'm going to have to go thru this again.

    But, I have the money.
  • I hadn't heard anything so I send an e-mail on 23rd Oct. I didn't receive a reply so I e-mailed again on 6th November and yesterday I received this e-mail:-

    Thank you for your e-mail.

This is to inform you that we have received the documents for claiming your first cash back on 19th of October 2006. We have started processing your request and sent the documents for verification.

The entire verification process takes 30 days. Once your verification result comes out to be positive you would be entitled to get cash back. Therefore, you can expect your cash back amount to be credited in to your bank account by 19th of November.

We hope this has been helpful. In case you have any other queries, please call us on 0800 0973651 from 9am-9pm and we will be happy to assist you.

they said i would get it within 10 days......lets see...but the point is - dont get too excited about the email...

Someone please tell me that someone from mobile rainbow hasn't just come onto a forum and posted onto a thread of people discussing its p*** poor customer service, just to advertise itself for free!?

Not addressing anyone's concerns, just a link!?

I had wondered that myself. It doesn't exactly do much to improve customer relations, does it?
