  • mine took about 7 weeks and they needed asking with 3 phone calls and 2 emails and email giving them a final 14 day notice or court action, close to my 9th month claim hope thats easier
  • I posted (Royal Mail Special Delivery) my 3mobileshop 6 month cashback claim on the 26 Sept.

    Should I phone or e-mail to confirm receipt.

    Am I going to have major problems?

  • applied for my first cashback 27/7/06 three emails(unanswered), and many but only two successful phone calls later, i have still not recieved it. will check bank tomorrow. COWBOYS, STEER CLEAR.
  • regvardy, if their phone lines are working, call them on their Freephone number....if you're unable to get thru (cos their phone lines malfunction quite frequently) email them.

    for me at least, they've recently been prompt with their reply RE: my cashback and they even included the date I should expect the money within the reply email. i certainly hope they'll keep to their word, but i'm mentally prepared (and i guess most other customers should too) to wait an extra 2 weeks or so
  • I had a bitter experience with mobile rainbow before I even started.I was keen on an 18 mth contract with orange thru mobile rainbow and duly filled in the details.I was then told that Orange wanted a £150 security deposit before I could proceed with the deal.I contacted Orange, and was explicitly informed by orange on different occasions that they DID NOT want any security deposit at all, and were happy to proceed witht the deal as it was.I gave mobile rainbow all the details of the relevant personel in Orange(who had said they were happy tp clarify any queries in my regard).However I was stuck with a guy called Kamran in MR, who stubbornly refused to issue a contract till I parted with £150,despite my pleas that Orange was happy to proceed without the same and giving them the relevant contact numbers.He just refued to contact Orange-saying that they would not contact the network on behalf of any customer.Believe it???After 9 phone calls to MR fell on deaf ears-I gave up on them.Never again!!!!Pathetic service commitments!!!! I wonder what mobile rainbow has to say in this regard.
  • well,last saturday,my partner who is still waiting for 2 cashbacks called the mobile no that was left by a previous poster. it was answered by an indian guy who confirmed the details and said he would do a transfer by bacs there and then,so she waited a few days and waited.so,today friday aft called again and was told to expect a call from cust svcs,which you guess never materialized! incidentally while on the phone to him i asked him to call msols cust svcs no and guess again no answer! am now getting a bit !!!!ed off with these arsmols.might pass there details on to somebody like the daily mirror sorted column.maybe they could help,a bit of bad publicity and all!

    Update on 3mobileshop cashback claim.

    Customer services numbers simply don't work. That's a pretty dreadful state of affairs.

    Rang the freephone sales number. Terrible line but it works.

    The person on the other end, asked for my home telephone number, he came up with name and acknowledged the receipt of the cash back claim on the 26th Sept. He stated payment would be actioned after 30 days, should be one week after the 30 days.

    Lets see.
  • Well, i just picked myself off the floor, mobile Rainbow have paid my cashback !!

    8 Days late, is better than 3 months I waited for the previous one, so my theory was right, special delivery your bills to them and they can't get out of it.
    My overall impression is that they are a very small firm, who have a huge workload due to their very tempting offers.
    They really let themselves down with their customer service personel , their phonelines and their cashback timeframes.

    Would I consider signing with them again .......

    They are not worth the hassle, I just signed with buymobilephones.net who have a much better customer services and great offers.
  • I'm about to send back my second claim.
    Could anyone confirm the Fax number and the address that I should be using? I don't want mobile rainbow having any excuse.
    I've tried getting in contact with mobile rainbow but obviously none of phone numbers work and I'm not getting any reply to any of my emails!

  • Hi New comer to this forum but have been following the thread on MSols Ltd (otherwise known as mobile rainbow, 3mobileshop, mobile bazaar and others) cashback, so far calls,(x4) emails (x2) time scale 6 weeks to present date, to get my cashback spoke to a very 'helpful' man in their Cashback Dept who guaranteed my money in my account next friday will let you know how i get on. Their current Telephone No is 01923 232 357 hope others find this helpful as their 0800 no on the web pages are out of 'action'!!
