Take a look at the guide written by sra on how to get smilies to work.

Is it because you are using the smilies at the bottom rather than the ones at the side?0 -
Do I dare do a stock take of everything I've been stockpiling
I'd have to find everything first as a lot of it is still packed up in boxes :rotfl:
Just the bathroom stuff alone currently fills one of those 4-drawer plastic storage units plus two large plastic storage boxes, and that's not including my recent purchase of 64 toilet rolls (4 x 16 pack offer @Tesco)
I'm still using shower gels that I bought a year ago from Boots offers when I first arrived at MSE, and despite already having a 5 litre container each of Trevor Sorbie shampoo and conditioner, I couldn't resist stocking up on the recent Tresemme offers
And I'm not even going to mention the flour mountain I've accumulated the last few weeks (36 bags) or the tinned beans and tomatoes (BOGOF 4-packs) and will we ever get through all the tuna, rice and pasta!!!
I wonder if they have therapy classes for people like us :rotfl:"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Thought we were running quite a tight ship, but managed to unearth some shampoo samples, use up some baby lotion and cotton wool in lieu of wipes, find a £1 gift voucher from M&S; find some tissue paper that can be used for gift wrapping. Even found a generic present I'd stashed away outside the gift drawer.0 -
Nabowla...
Orange Flower Water is great stuff - I've got recipes for it where you make a sugar syrup and add orange flower water, then pour over cakes/pastries. But if you just want to use it up, try adding it (not too dilute, it's pretty weak anyway) to the water you put in your iron, makes the ironing smells great!0 -

If they don't, they probably ought to! But think how much money we've all saved! :heartsmil
I actually had a sort-out before Christmas as my church was looking for things for the Christmas bazaar - managed to find them 4 bottles of body wash and three bottles of shower gel for the "bottle tombola", so not too bad. At the moment I'm using up 6 different bottles of shampoo. apart from that it doesn't seem too bad, and as far as food is concerned my freezer isn't big enough to hoard loads of stuff (more's the pity!) :grinheart0 -

well you could drink numerous cups of tea while sorting out bathroom items for use it up... at least you'll be exactly where you need to be when the diuretic effects occur LOLfounder of Frugal Genius UK (Yahoo Groups)0 -
anyone got any ideas for how to use up blue curacao?
i won a competition more than a year ago where i got a bottle of the stuff and a bottle of bacardi rum.
rum's long gone but have no clue what do do with this weird bitter orange tasting stuff
we are not big drinkers and dont have anything else other than dh's malt whiskey in the house (that lasts for years)
so anything that doesn't require buying alchohol would be great!founder of Frugal Genius UK (Yahoo Groups)0 -
Using up things seems to be a perennial problem. The links are to older threads:-

Help needed to throw things out
Don't forget that we have a Store Cupboard Challenge which has helpful ideas for using up things as well.
