Using up blue curacao isn't too difficult in our house! It's wicked stuff - bitter orange liqueur. I sent DH out to the supermarket when we were on holiday in France to buy some orange liqueur so we could make home-made Pimm's and he came back with blue curacao instead. Strangely enough, the home-made Pimm's tasted great but looked just like Fairy liquid:-) Pimm's is great for a refreshing summer drink and isn't too overpowering on the alcohol front (unless you drink it by the bucketload, like me...). As an interesting aside, blue curacao and lemonade used to be a favourite in the nightclub where I worked as student, because it kind of glows under ultraviolet light.
Recipe for home-made Pimm's - 1 measure of gin, 1 measure of triple sec (or blue curacao...), 2 measures of red vermouth (e.g. Martini Rosso). The measure for me is 200ml so I can make a full bottle. Mix together, and use as normal pimms by adding lemonade or soda or whatever you like as a mixer. Make sure you use loads of ice, a few slices of lemon/orange/strawberries or possibly cucumber, and a sprig of mint. Before you criticise a man, walk a mile in his shoes. Then, when you do criticise him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes.0 -

We always do this, with everything from food to toiletries. My partner even cuts open the toothpaste to get every last drop out. It is amazing how much gets wasted when you don't use things up.0

OK - it's taken me a while, but i've been and done my toiletry check (and i got bored before i got onto the vanity cabinet, so i haven't even got onto make up yet, and thinks like dental floss, blackhead strips. - in my favour, quite a lot (about half of this) is mini bottles.
bath/shower gel - 21 bottles
bubble bath - 14
body oil - 4
moisture spray - 1
body scrub - 3
body mask - 3
face masks - 4
vitamin C cream - 2
face scrubs - 3
moisturiser - 23
perfume - 4
foot lotion - 3
after sun - 1
hand cream - 6
bars of soap - 10
mouthwash - 2 plus 2 on the go
shampoo - 5
conditioner - 3
toothpaste - 2 plus one on the go
spare toothbrushes - 2
shaving gel - 1 plus one on the go
deoderant - don't know where DH has stashed this as he was bought loads at xmas, and i can only find 2
cleansers - 5
face wash - 1
bath pearls - 4 packs of 3
mousse - 2
hair spray - 1
nail varnish remover - 2 (both open even though i can't remember the last time i wore nail polish)
dream curls - x2 both open
frizz ease serum x1, and cream x1
body sprays - 4 on the go, 2 nearly finished
packs of always 2 and a half
toilet rolls - 22
bottles of handwash - one and a bit
I sorted the bathroom and cupboard so it is organised by type of product. Perhaps i should be having two baths a day to use this lot up. I feel bad, although the majority of this was presents over the past few years. I hardly ever buy anything but shampoo/conditioner/toothpaste/mouthwash
I think i had best use some of the bubble bath as hand wash and refill them as they become empty.
OOOOOOOps.
