I am tempted by this offer but I share an LNB with another neighbour, does anyone know if I got this deal and they put a quad LNB on would the other person be affected in any way?

Any help would be really good thanks x

is it possible to use topcashback or quidco for upgrading sky packages?

cashbackkings give £15, don't think quidco gives anything though for upgrades

both quidco and cbk are giving £100 cashback for new customer sky+ HD sales
  • Mine was an upgrade.

well i found out from sky that an existing sky cable won't work for an HD sky box- they have to run a new cable from the dish to the new HD box-hence the £30 installation fee.

next question- can i keep my old sky box linked to the satellitie dish and then receive the free to view channels such as bbc etc... without having multiroom added to my account:confused::confused:

Sounds like you did well as it doesn't mention that on the list and the sky + hd has an * by it that says for new customers only

Just noticed that cashbackkings say £25 for an upgrade at the top and £15 further down.

They'll run a second cable, as Sky +, and HD + need 2 feeds.

There wont be another socket for you to plug your existing sky box into.

Now's the time for a second HD box I thought. Thought wrong - not available to those muppets who paid £299 for their HD box when it was released.

    Well done me!

I currently have Sky in my name but it is an ordinary box. Can hubby take the new Sky+hd box and get the cashback via quidco? What will happen our exiting box and dish which we own? When would I need to cancel my subscription?

    Can anyone answer these questions?

i thought that sky dishes could have quad (4 connectors) or even 8 connectors???
