Wow that was a bit of a post!
It seems some people are happy and others aren't which really has made me sit down and think do I really want/need an HD box now or would I be better waiting for all these problems to be sorted.
So if Sky HD came 2nd from last can you tell us what were the top five boxes? Thanks.0 -
I couldnt agree more, Sky customer support is the worst i have ever encountered.0

Anyone got Sky disconnections telephone number. i have tried all in saynoto0870 and they dont work. i m out of contract wit 2 mixes running, so thinking of getting it in my wife name although the address is the same. so what deal would i get from them or should i call and haggle as an existing customer.

For those that have had the box fitted, does it have an output on it like the standard sky box? I've wanted sky+ for a while now and hubby likes HD so this seems a good deal for existing customers, but we use the magic eye upstairs and dont really want to lose this feature or pay for multi-room.0

The reason these HD boxes are now so cheap is because Sky are ready to push out the new HD box which will not accept full HD signal at 1080p. These boxes only accept 720p maximum.
But.. it is still a great deal.Motto: 'If you don't ask, you don't get!!'
Remember to say thank you to people who help you out!
Also, thank you to people who help me out.0 -

Sorry but I don't quite understand this. Are you saying there are new boxes coming out and they will not accept the full HD signal or are you saying the current boxes don't accept the full HD signal? Sorry a bit confused by your message.
