Morning everyone :hello:
Been up since 5.30am, watched ER from last night!!
WM is on (dark load), and I've been dying to say this "chicken curry in slow cooker" :T Yes, you've guessed it .... I'm a slow cooker virgin! My new SC arrived yesterday and it's my first time!!!
B: Cereal and coffee
L: Ham rollsChicken curry!!!
DD's going to a friends for tea tonight, so when I get home from work I can have a good blitz in the house with no interruptions (also knowing I don't have to cook tea as it will already be done :T )
Anyway, must dash - or I'll be late for work.
ByeeSquares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -

Well, why is it that after tossing and turning all night, you finally manage to get to sleep about half an hour befor the alarm goes off????? My head feels all fuzzy today, hopefully the paracetamol i took will help, im not able to take anything stronger, but at least its friday and although i have 3 little ones here, hopefully the day will go nice and quickly.
Got quite a lot i want to do today, but at the moment i have no energy or inclination to do any of it, oh well, i still have time to get my butt in gear!!!!!

Morning all!
Quick hello today, as we have regular twice-monthly home educators meeting today.
Washing done & doing short stint in TD before hanging to finish off in airing cupboard. Washing up done.
Just checking out websites about crochet as that is one of the activities planned for todays meeting, after the science awards they are doing.
Have a good day. Lillibet - do try & take advantage of Spuds nap, if he has one, to get some rest & not use it as housework time!0 -

Didn't have a chance to pop on yesterday, but there's nothing thrilling to report
Had my eyebrows done yesterday and I've started sit ups.
Received my first sponsorship money for the half marathon from a colleague. Been promised around £40 so far.
Another long day ahead of me, as I'm not back in till Monday, so I'll have to make sure everything's in order for the weekend
Hope everyone's ok
I hoped as you were not on that you had the day offI should have known better :rotfl:

Morning Lillibet, morning spud, let your mummy sleep for once!!
Happy Birthday Arkonite, hope it's a good one.
Well, after last night things have improved slightly when DH offered to get up and sort the kids out this morning. Good job I came down before him and DD left though or she would have had no lunch and resembled the local baglady
He's determined to have a little spend on his credit card so everyone is getting something they really want including me. It's a toss up between my chicken house and 3 chooks or my plastic greenhouse from Poundstretcher and all the seeds I need to keep me going through the yearOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things
F U Fund currently at £2500 -
Met OH at the garage on way to work - kissed and made up
happy birthday Arkonite_babe - have a good day - even if you have the dentist
PP - hope you feel better soon
Off to production meeting now
Take care all

MATH wrote:I know it's little comfort but imagine what a mess you'd be in if you wern't so savvy. Mrs MATH isn't as MSE (she would say tight) as I am but I have to put up with nothing compaired to you hun. The other real benefit is she realises I'm the money brains and is quite happy to be treated like a child. All money is in my account and she has £60 pocket money a week for all her bits 'n' bobs and petrol. I don't know if this would work in your case tho.
I have just done the same to dh, hes useless with money. Getsangry when the household account is overdrawn (every month) and when he sees the cc bill. Doesnt seem to appriciate thathe puts in a different amount to the household acc each month depending on how overdrawn he is and that the cc billis his business expenses for which hes has been paid but spent on cd's. So each month I have a different amount to work with.
This month he had £125 left in his acc, it was diesel money he hadnt needed cause he had been working from home while dd had measles. Now instead of paying some off the cc or putting a bit extra into the house acc he said yay, that means I have £225 to play with this month:mad: . He gives himself £100 "spending money" each month. When I questioned him about it he said "yeah but it was mine anyway and I didnt spend it so I should get to keep it". ME SEETHING WITH ANGER.
He also buys the kids crap all the time, sweets, colouring books etc and that all comes from the house acc not his spending money. Doesnt appreciate that I dont buy them these things and dont budget for them. I have now told him they can have 1 treat each week on a friday night and he is to spend no more than £1 cause if its sweets they need cost no more than that.
I have now transferred all DDs to my account and have his wages paid to my acc too. This way I give him £100 pm spending money and hopefully he will see where it goes from now on.WW Start Weight 18/04/12 = 19st 11lbsWeight today = 17st 6.5lbsLoss to date 32.5lbs!!!0 -
Good morning all
Happy Birthday AB :j
As usual when DH is away the bed was too cold and far to big so I was bright eyed and bushy tailed at 5.22am...lay there reading rather than waking DD's.
WM on 2nd load, DW empty, hoovering done, TD just about to finish.
Brekkie - Half and Half HM toast
Lunch - DD's have sarnies and fruit - I'll see what I fancy later.
Dinner - No decisions have been made yet.
Going to do a complete sort through of the larder today - lots of odds and ends of flour/sugar etc to sort out. Need to sort a meal plan for the next 2 weeks as I want to try not to shop for anything other than fresh fruit and veg.
Hope you all have a great day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
