Morning Lillibet (:j :hello: Hello spud :hello: :j ) and Apple_mint. icon7.gif Lillibet, Hubby need a couple of wet nappies throwing at him when he is nice and deeply asleep

Having had one of the most awful months (for work stuff) I can remember I finally began to unwind last night and have just slept for 11 hours straight.

"Basics" shopping trip planned for this morning then I am going to seriously blitz one room a day for each of the next 4 days - and trust me, it needs it! I have a mountain of washing to catch up on so WM is already on. Paperwork is backed up so that needs attention when I need a sit down from the cleaning. If you see me on here today kick me off please :rotfl:

    Breakfast is toast and yoghurt
Lunch will be avocado and tomato salad
Dinner.... hmmm, depends what looks good at the market. icon7.gif

Am off to see if I can find a BM recipe for Polish Rye, sourdough and caraway seed bread, coz I love it and find that it is the one bread I keep buying from time to time so want to make some of my own now.

    Have a great day icon7.gif
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

    Hello everyone

Didn't have a chance to pop on yesterday, but there's nothing thrilling to report

Had my eyebrows done yesterday and I've started sit ups.

Received my first sponsorship money for the half marathon from a colleague. Been promised around £40 so far.

Another long day ahead of me, as I'm not back in till Monday, so I'll have to make sure everything's in order for the weekend

    Hope everyone's ok

    Morning all

:grouphug: to all those who need them

Johanne - good luck with the scouts thing

Lillibet - take it easy today

Early finish at work today. OH is leaving early for work as he is playing badminton before work so will only see him for half an hour maybe.

Once he is away I plan to get all of the housework done.
WM will go on with all our darks (just waiting on my clothes from today)
    - Start in our room - bed stripped and changed
    - put in machine overnight hang out in morning if it is nice.
    - Upstairs hoovered and bathroom cleaned.
    - Kitchen worktops to be cleared and cleaned (one corner seems gather all the clutter  )
    - Hall to be hoovered.
    - LR to be straightened and tidied and polished.

All of the above is assuming I do not put computer on and come on MSE ;)

I will then sit down and watch some Sky + programs (have a couple of things to do on MSE for some people and from another forum so will do that first)
Couple of glasses of wine

    B - cereal and OJ
l - will join the Greggs run today
D - Mr chinese is calling me - OH is having LO lasagne from last night

    will call back later

    have a lovely day all

Not feeling well. Have some kind of head flu and feel awful:mad: Slept OK though, but did take a concoction of flu tablets before going to bed last night..LOL.

WM on. DW half empty. OH & I are doing a quick flick through downstairs today as cleaner not here today:eek: OH did our bed yesterday, so just DD's to do today. Upstairs is fine and will dust later quickly when I go up for bed and the bathroom OH can do before bed too. Not going to do a whole top to bottom clean but just to make it look nice.

Spoke with SIL last night and shes coming round monday, so all is forgiven, but we shall see.

Dont think we will be doing much today as we both feel quite fluey.

    Breakie:cereal and fruit
    Lunch:Baked Spud (NOT LILLIBETS!)
    Dinner: Egg & HM Chips

Got to go and take more flu tablets...see ya

    Morning all

Following on from the Stupid Man chat last night, mine has done it again!!! I tidied up last night so it would be nice and clean for his guest and so I could do less over the weekend, I wake up this morning and find that he has left a right tip in the lounge  AAARRRGGGHHHHHHHH.

He is at work this evning so I will get chance to do some cleaning while he is out but I think this weekend is going to be IT - if he doesnt buck his goddam ideas up then there is going to be a whole world of poo thrown at him.

Had a fairly decent sleep anyway and hopefully today will be a good day at work, hm soft bread and hm lemon curd for breakfast (nice and tangy!) hm soup and hm bread for lunch then something for dinner for me out of the freezer, also following on from the use up stocks thread. Its only two weeks till payday and so far we arent doing too bad money wise, I think if we are still in the same position next friday then I might just buy the TV stand ive had my eye on that matches my coffee table. Ive already overpaid on the debt repayments this month and I still need a few bits of furniture for the house then its complete, so I feel I deserve it!

Anyway, gotta dash and get ready - I also need to find some tights socks things as ive started wearing heels to work in the hope that I look more professional.

    Good morning all.
Bad start already today, had to call Stepson 4 times before he got out of bed & he's alredy in my bad books for going out & leaving a candle burning in his room! Good job I decided to put his clean washing in his room while he was out, otherwise we could all have been toast.
Next week hubby & I have to be up at 5:30 as he is working further away for a couple of weeks, I only hope it's a bit warmer by then.

  • Snowy Owl thankyou so much for that! Totally unexpected, I did rather hope that no one would notice :o

Well for me today nothing very exciting, I'm actually able to post on this thread for a change, I took the day off work. Not because it's my birthday mind, I actually have a dental appointment, joy!

I'm totally disorganised nothing planned for luch though I do plan to "try" and make pork burgers with my new burger maker which arrived yesterday. I shall let you all know how it transpires, could be messy given that I'm trying it with pork sausage meat as opposed to minced pork :)

Anyways, hugs to all who need them today. Have a good day everyone else and I shall see you all later
