  • Well I must have the most sympathetic hubby there is! Even when I'm horrifically hungover he makes sure DD doesn't "bother" me and lets me lie in bed all day - without complaint. Whereas if HE has a hangover I'm jumping up and down on the bed at about 8.00am telling him "it's your own fault" and that he needs to get up - what a cow I am!!
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

:grouphug: SPENDLESS. You have my sympathy and empathy. DH has taken ill with the dreaded "man flu" today and is currently in the bath. Moaned about being unable to do anything despite managing to wolf down 4 pancakes with sugar and lemon. Hes at the dentist tomorrow though so will take revenge then - rubs hands gleefully and cackles maniacly (sp?).

Today has been spent on the phone trying to arrange a removal team who are free next week - the answer.................not bleeding many . Consequently am now having to pay £1010 instead of £720, although I must confess that they are packing for me as I have come to the conclusion that its too bleeding hard with 3 sprogs and 1 USELESS husband at my feet all day(and night-sprogs that is, not husband-LOL).

Kids are now feed and changed watching TV whilst I catch up here, havent been able to post all day as dh working from home.

    Off to browse,

    Hi Everyone,

Been to work today, but booked a half day off as DS is not well. He's not been right for about 5 days now. Really off his food and really grumpy all the time (just like his Dad!:D ). Had to pop into town at lunch time, and got caught in a flurry of snow. Posted parcels and spent some Boots points, on some perfume for my mum for mothers day. Got home to find DS with his feet up on the sofa, watching Noddy.
Treated myself to some clinique stuff I found on a web site (strawberrynet.com) and worked out £16 cheaper than if Id bought my stuff in the Uk. Using a sample kit of their 3 step stuff, I blagged at the mo. Had steak for tea, care of my fab Dad who is a really good cook.:A . DS now in bed, and I'm enjoying some time online. Looking forward to hearing from my friend, as she had to go into hospital yesterday to be induced. Fingers crossed everythings okay for her. Looking forward to meeting her new baby.

    Bye for now... POwie

My OH is like that stressedout,he's a pearl amongst swine bless him.

Dd is in bed,OH gone to collect young judokas from judo(that's the technical term I'm told for judo students).
My peach-yogurt jelly went down like a ton of bricks :( was a shame 'cos I'd made loads of it.I think I should have used a block of jelly instead of gelatine,it wasn't very sweet.I'll try Black Saturn's jelly mousse thing next week.

awww spendless bless ya...men!!! My DH is completely useless as well. Once when I was really poorly I was sick in the bath and I couldn't have a bath for 3 days until I was 'well' enough to clean it out myself. And he was bl***y awful when I was pregnant I was really ill with it, I couldn't shop for food let alone cook it and he just didn't bother to help me until I was so hungry I was sick anyway. :( So I can understand how you feel, glad you're feeling a bit better now chick....definately think you should treat yourself and not share it with him. ;)

Veg soup didn't go down well with munch but DH said it was alright, I didn't really have any as I wanted to have space for maximum pancake consumption lol. :rotfl:

DH is out so I think I might get off me bum and do some tidying...oh its the bain of my life but I'm sure I'd be sooo much happier if I could just get the house tidy and keep it that way...think I'll have to get some peeps to pray for me get motivated.

Right off to do my clicks then see how I feel...tiding/sleeping.

Night night all see ya in the morrow.

mossy I can't pray for you (not that way inclined) but I will tell you that once you start you'll feel a lot better and feel more like carrying it on to the end.

It's putting it off that is the painful part.

Just remember, procrastination is the thief of time!! :D
