Poshpaws - Thank you, the joys of having kids hey....its taken me two years to almost get my figure (which has now changed for life anyway) back. I'll have to start doing my exercise that the phsyio (sp?) gave me last year to help strenghten my back up again.

Ronanfank (sp?) - Congratulations I hope you enjoy seeing the baby. My SIL is due in a couple of weeks and I've already seen the clothes I'm going to buy she just needs to decide whether shes having a boy or a girl...I can't wait!! :) My best friend has promised to tell me if she's having a girl or boy when she finds out..babies awwww going to deprive myself of sleep tonight before I get too broody lol.

I've made my first vegetable soup today and it looks alright, I started purreing it and it looked a bit like sick but it tastes nice lol. :p DH wont have pancakes for tea and nothing else so this should keep him happy. I've got some chicken stock on the hob reducing as well.

Been into town, health visit for munch went well and she was very pleased with her development, munch is 71 centile for her weight and between 91-98 for her height so shes doing sooo well, you wouldn't believe that at around 7 months she went from 50 centile weight to under 9 :( still shes made up for it now lol. Shes a tall girlie :heart2:

Popped into MIL shop and looked at patterns and have now decided on a jumper to crochet for munch....also decided that I am going to have to relearn how to knit as there were some gorgeous patterns. :A

Was going to do some tidying put my legs and back are aching a bit so I'm having a sit down and a catch up with you guys instead. Going to book an opticians appointment and then go and pick up DH from work.

Take care everyone and have a *flippin* good evening :D
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

Fri- Take ill with trots, spend day at home looking after little girl who is also ill -eat nothing. Have row with healthy hubby who asks you to help out. When you point out you're ill he replies he's tired too.

Sat- Hubby goes to relatives party, leaving you recovering with one still ill child and one healthy one- eat nothing again.

Sunday - Let hubby stay all day on settee, moaning that he ahd a bad pint. As everyone is feeling better, cook a full Sunday dinner that only you and DS eat cos DD throws up again and hubby has now got the same bug. Make sure they don't tell you about feeling unwell in advance, so you heap their plate and they can cover it in gravy and mint and apple sauce and you can't use any leftovers for a full meal. See to kids yourself as hubby is too ill, make sure you mention Fridays argument.

Monday - Send DS to school, hubby off work ill and DD back to being ill. At lunchtime when they are both asleep, look at the pots in the kitchen that haven't been touched cos no one felt well enough to tackle them, think sod it and go down the chippy for your own dinner. Go to Asda and spend a fortune cos you have a heap of coupons that expire the following day and you wish to use them up.

Tuesday - Let hubby return to work, but cos he doesn't know if he can face a sandwich yet let him spend as much as he wants at dinner ensuring he goes to the cash machine that charges for withdrawals.
Tackle the washing for the first time since last week. After you've put last item on line, line snaps bring back inside and wash again.
Collect DS from school and bake buns as promised yesterday as you have now got the stuff in. After you've made the mixture realise you only have one bun tray, and the other baking tray you can use is curretly soaking in fairy power spray you bought yonks ago and are trying to use up re the Feb challenge. Decide you can't be bothered to rinse it off as 2 kids are nagging about just eating the mixture raw and put 6 in the oven at a time with nothing else. Keep the oven on to do the next batch and catch them just before they burn as you are typing about your bad week on MSE. Leave them to cool cos the kids want to ice them, pour icing sugar into bowl and discover it has weevils in it, throw in bin.

Board guides- kick this in the arms at some point. just thought I'd give the others a laugh.

As someone who spent most of last night scrunched in DDs (age 12) single bed with her as she "could not sleep" and having spent most of the day clearing up after she was sick then slept for 5 solid hours in the afternoon - know how you feel.

Evening everyone

Taken me an age (and 2 sittings) to read this thread :D

Boys back to school today so went into town to return something to Argos - found their clearance catalogue and managed to buy nephew's birthday pressie - £16.66 reduced from £50 :D Did a mystery shopping job (god, that woman was soooooo bad at her job :o) then popped into Lidl's to find their 1/2 price fruit and veg is over :(

Quick whip round at home, put saus casserole in SC, for tea, then sat down and had a 2 hour crochet lesson from a lovely lady - I can now do all the stitches and made my own square :j :j It's just practise, practise, practise now :D The lady was really impressed at how well I did considering I could just make a chain when she walked through the door. :)

Have just had pancakes as our pud - yum! May have a wee tipple tonight and give up for Lent. May also give up chocolate too - I need something to make me stop - this past couple of weeks I've really eaten far too much !!!!!! :(

(((hugs))) to all sick or tired peeps (oh, that includes me - both boys in my bed last night, most of the night. Even when I went in theirs, they came after me :( )

Hope you all have a good evening :)

Nah... wouldn't do that :)

What I will do, if it won't get tangled up, is add it to the daily thread.

Is anyone giving up anything for lent? Last year I gave up some computer time (competition sites) and used the time to phone people. Sometimes this was just to give more time to friends and family. Sometimes it was to phone people who I didn't know so well but might appreciate a supportive phone call for some reason.

awww - spendless, I can sympathise with you. (although Mr TM states I do not do sympathy - I do, only not for him :D)

When DS1 was young and Mr TM was away, DS was ill during the week. On Friday, I took ill and even had to ask childminder to drive DS home as I was too ill. Put DS to bed and spent evening with head down loo. Rang Mr TM and asked him to come home as I couldn't cope with getting up with baby early in morning. (he was coming back the next day anyway) He drove home and walked through door - I asked for a cup of tea. Was told he was tired, so he grudingly brought me water and went to bed. He was still 'tired' next day, so guess who had to deal with baby!!

But of course he tells people how he drove home 150 miles to look after me when I was ill
