Arrrrrggghh, I'm going to mangle DS!! I was just ready to slope off for an early night and I've just discovered that he's managed to go off to bed without loading the dishwasher or making his and DD's sandwiches for the morning so now I will have to do it if I don't want a mad panic in the morningOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

Good morning everyone from shivery Northern Ireland. Looks like we're going to get some snow today over here. Brrrrr!!!!
This is just a quick one to start the thread off as I'm going to try and get a wee bit more sleep.
Hope everyone is as well as they possibly can be, and keeping warm if suffering.

A good nights sleep here! Can just about move though with the cold weather and have heating on and 2 pairs of pjs on:eek:
Have not got enough dirty clothes to put the WM on:j DW half full. Toilet cleaned. House generally still clean and tidy from friday. Clothes have been either put in ironing basket or put away.
OH has decided to put some extra skirting down as the wood filler was toooo expensive. We have nice skirting down anyway, but with the small added curved bit we're getting should look nice but unusual IYKWIM. Dont know the costing yet
DD going to school today. Have done her pack up of ham/lettuce sarnie, yogurt, apple, banana, raisins, biscuit and crisps. She normally comes back with the crisps and eats when she gets home.
OH is just preparing the lamb stew we are having later in the SC. Chump lamb chops, carrots, swede, baked beans, onion, peas, spuds, packet mix and dumplings will be put in later.
Breakie:Beans on toast/fruit juice
Lunch: HM Lasagna shared with OH from the freezer
Dinner:Lamb Stew in SC
Anyways, best go. Love to all.

Still in pain with my hamstring and still unable to drive but hey I'm still at work!
Really tired I can't seem to get enough sleep. I think I was meant to be working this evening but I'm not going to. I can't keep working all hours.
This is my last day of being in the presence of £2 coins. I'm going to try and do the pot thing with them, but we shall see:D
It's so cold here. Think I might put my coat back on
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Prudent-DD is suppose to be having free school dinners but they were totally awful and never the choices there that should have been. She is in year 6, so were last to get lunch and some days were only being offered a bread roll and a pudding:eek: at least I know shes eating well now.
I am hoping that when she attends secondary (this sept) that there will be more choice in the cafeteria and she will be able to get free dinners. Out of interest, does anyone know how much they contribute daily towards the free school meals and what the prices are in the cafs at secondary?
Thanks

Morning all
PP - glad you had good night, sorry can't help with the school meals thing, as my DS is home educated (no free meals available!!!) but I guess that these things vary from LEA to LEA and from school to school. Can you ring them to find out?
The weather here looks quite nice at the mo, not sure how long that will last though. Will get the washing hung out shortly, hopefully it will get some time outside - as it is quite windy it might get a bit drier than at first.
D/w still waiting to be emptied, in fact all I have done this morning apart from come on here is DHs lunch....
Have a good day everyone!0 -
Morning all - it's gorgeous and sunny here in Oxfordshire - but I bet it's really cold out
DH has already gone to work, DD is getting dressed and I'm just about to hop in the bath, packed lunches already made.
Work today, it's my busiest day of the week which I enjoy as it makes the day go so much faster

I've made my batter up for the pancakes and it's resting in the fridge, ready for when we get home and I can cook up a storm - is anyone brave enough to toss their pancakes - I'm sure not :rotfl:

Morning all :hello:
Well I feel some much better after handing in my notice yesterday
Espically after I had to go back into work last night after my course. Only 19 shifts to go ...... not that I'm counting or anything.:D
Planning on hitting the charity shops this morning to find some material to make some new cushion covers. We have just redecorated the lounge and I want new cushions but they are SO expensive, I have decided to make my own.
Hope everyone is feeling better today, hugs to those that need it.
Off to empty the WM, then I think I need to push the hoover round before going out.
Not at work till this afternoon, so hopefully will be able to have a browse online later.
Have a good one !:)0
