Morning All
Happy Birthday Arkonite Babe
Lillibet: I think the OS babe must have a secret form of communication as DD was up all night as well. Missed Hotel Babylon  and only managed a couple of hours kip between 12am-3am  .
Anyway not sleeping has its advantages, WM has done 1 load and now the nappies are being washed now, loaf made and Queenies everyday biscuit dough chilling in the fridge. Got the housework to do today, and need to nip to Tescos to get afew bits and never made it to the butchers yesterday so will try and get there as well.
Anyway i've waffled on enough
Breakie: Toast and Tea
Lunch: Soup
Tea: Burgers in Buns and HM oven chipsSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Hello everybody,
It's been a hot one here today. Took both dogs to the vet for thier booster shots. Benny vomited twice in the car on the way there:rolleyes: once on the floor in the waiting room:rolleyes:, once on the table  and twice on the way home. Lucky I had newspaper down. He gets car sick & is petrified of the vets. Daisy being a little girl doggy was as good as gold.
After I took them home and had a cuppa, had to return to town to run a few errands. This afternoon after it cooled down I mowed the yard & sawed a fallen tree out the front. Am well and truly had it now. Showered & had tea so enjoying a surf.
Tea was: Chicken & Pasta slice with Hot Herbed Potatoes
Dessert: Caramel (low fat) icecream & fruit salad.
Hope you all have a nice Friday. Happy Birthday Arkonite Babe. :beer:Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -

Morning all
Arkonite_babe: Happy Birthday!
_party_ _party_ _party_ _party_
Lillibet - I hope that your little spud lets you get some sleep! Men can be so insensitive sometimes too - my future SIL nearly missed her father's 60th birthday party because her husband woke up their 15month old just as they were about to leave. It was unfair on the babysitter to leave her with a screaming boy - so SIL left her husband to deal with the mess!
jw - Have a good day at work, and if there's a bright light over the UK this weekend, we'll know that you've given your OH what for! My OH has suddenly realised that we're getting married this year and is beginning to pull his weight, for once.
PP - hope your head cold isn't too awful.
I've got time out of the classroom today because I'm a new teacher. :j My class seem quite disappointed when I'm not there - bless them! I've left them plenty of exciting things to be getting on with, which is a shame as I'd have liked to have done that with them! Ah well. It means very little marking for the people who do have to teach them and the children get to learn by having fun!
I'm on playground duty today and when I went outside to line the children up, they just lined up automatically! Normally you have to tell them time and time again to "line up". Maybe they've just given in?:rotfl:
OH has got the whole day at home today because he worked over last weekend. This means that he's in charge of tidying the house, ironing
and washing. I wonder what he'll actually get done. When I left him, he was still in bed, lazy little toad
.
Going up to my parents' house this evening for the weekend. Tomorrow we've got OH's sister and her husband (and baby) coming to look at the church bells that they'll be ringing for our wedding (same sister that nearly missed her father's 60th birthday). Then we're off into Lincoln to sort out OH's suit hire for the day. I know what I want him to wear............ so he'll wear it.
The baby - our god son - apparently doesn't like cats. This is quite a big problem as my parents have four of them, two of them being mine! I have big plans to force him to like cats as they're just so docile, the ones that my parents have at least! Hmmmmmm.............
See you lot later.

hi, and good morning to everyone:hello:
Happy Birthday
AB !!!
Well I have been up since 4.30a.m for no othere reason than I felt like it:p .
I have had so little motivation these last few weeks and have like many others suffered with sleep problems, that everything is behind and the house looks like a tip. So, I decided to get up before the DD and get on with some jobs, without interruptions:rolleyes:
The living room is cleaned & dusted, the kitchen surfaces with all the clutter have been sorted and paperwork attended to.
The slowcooker is on with a freezer batch full of St Delias ragu bolognese sauce in it and a wholemeal loaf is nearly finished cooking:D
Washing is on and one batch of ironing complete.
So having a :coffee: break and a bit of surfing and then onto the bedrooms.
Amazing what can get done when a two year old sleeps till 8:dance:
Sorry Lilibet, I'm not showing off:o , I know what it's like when they play up.
The advice to sleep when Spud does is really important. The housework etc can go hang. maybe if hubby comes home to a house that needs a tidy up, he will realise how difficult things are when you don't share the night duties.. Give him a swift kick up the Jacksy, and tell him to get his act together lol:p :wall:

VickyA - ohh... have fun with your wedding things this w/e. When's the Big Day?
Lillibet - aw, bless... I'm sure it's a "one off".(????)
AB - HB!
Everyone else - love and peace for a good Friday.
Just popped on to update PMS Challenge total to keep the motivation up! Need to knuckle down to work today.
Will do a Mystery phone call at lunchtime, finish off ebay listings this evening.(3/4 hour max). Might even be time to "attack" the household paperwork?? Who knows.....0 -

It's the 29th July. I'm hoping that it'll be nice weather, for the sole reason that I'm walking to and from the church down the village. Why bother hiring a car for a 3 minute walk? Our reception is in my parents' garden.
A friend of my parents, in the village, has said that if it does rain he'll come round and pick me up in his Jag. Both options are quite attractive, aren't they?Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
Morning folks, and happy birthday AB, ((((((HUGS)))))) to all those who are porrly or have not slept.
Nothing really planned for today except cleaning up the rolls of fluff on the sitting room floor. OH has gone to the allotment, I have to make a pan of leek and spud soup and get supper out of the freezer but thats it.
Just been into the cupboard in the back bedroom and got the bigger of our two flight cases out to pack for our jaunt to Paris 3 weeks today, will start putting stuff like knickers in as they come out of the wash, clean and smelling lovely!!!! Not taking much with us just trousers and fleeced with waterproof top coats, not expecting to go anywhere fancy.
Have been looking for a cheap DVD/Video combi, we have loads of films etc and also DVD's would be nice to watch them on the TV instead of on the laptop..........we have a very ancient video might put it on freecycle see if anyone wants it, might be ok for a little one to watch stuff on.
Thats it, I am off to get a shower and wash my hair, brekkie in bed this morning courtesy of OH, he was up I was reading so he trailed upstairs with the tray, lovely man.....
