  • Morning, I've been up since 5!! Went to the stables by 5.30 and mucked out the horse, back home by 7.30.

DW on, BM on, WM on and feel so tired that I want to go back to bed...

Can't do that so, going to sort out the home office this morning, there's so much paperwork kicking around that I can't find anything anymore. Also have an assignment to be completed by next Wednesday, so must do some work on that - but this is dependent on finding the actual assignment notes under the mountain of paperwork!

    But first more coffee...

    Have the best day ever!

Inspired by PoshPaws I got my DH to show me how to put a picture of our very handsome Doberman (hence my user name) Harley as my avatar & couldn't resist showing him off!!

Am looking for a decent pan set if anyone can help? I have AWT set which I bought 2 years ago and they are cr*p! Cooking all the time seems to hammer them LOL....well thats good I suppose..LOL.
There are a couple of threads in the Kitchenware section of the MEGA Index which should help. I've copied them below:-

  • Morning all

I went out last night for a curry and few (hic) glasses of wine - it was great all in all there were 11 of us girlies - it was very civilised I promise ;)

Bit of a slow start (well it is Saturday) DH has gone to work, bless him he works every Sat and only gets Sun off. DD (7) has started this new phase of making her own breakfast (which is fantastic - and no spills yet!!)

Loads of washing to do today - where does it all come from  It's freezing outside so I think it will be a TD day - I'm going to make a load of bread rolls in the BM today and stick them in my freezer. Downstairs of house is all clean and sparkly - upstairs - well that's a different story :wall:

Hope everyone has a great day!

    Byee
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)
  • morning - an early start for me. DH had to get up at 7 to go to work, so i got up with him.

bed stripped, and the WM has just finished. Will move to the TD in a minute. It's virtually the only thing i use my TD for now, as i haven't really got anywhere to put the sheets for a few days.

have to go out in a bit - we need to return our wedding photo choices to our wedding photographer so we can finally have the albums. It feels like so long ago now, although in reality only 4 months. You can't rush art i suppose.

I love the weekends. DH should be home soon, and then we'll get on with the day. We always get loads done on a weekend. I think it may have to be the garden today, or perhaps a start on some of the decorating. Although i suppose as its nice, i should take advantage of it.

    Have a nice day everyone.

    FF Thats fantastic news :)

Ticklemouse lol :rotfl: I remember that first day well, we had to wait a week before we were discharged and I remember DH and I putting munch on our massive bed in comparison to her, she was crying and we were sat there thinking what do we do now and our cats just looked at her thinking what on earth have you brought home with you!!

Been good today, two loads of bedding drying on the line, WM on, DW on, kitchen floor swept and worktops cleaned.

Plan for today was to go and see my mum but munch has well and truly come down with a cold bless her (keeping her stocked up on calpol, cough medicine and squash) so don't think we will be going for a walk to mums as its too cold and don't want to spread germs. Need to do yesterdays ironing and then I'm going to do all the filing...I may be some time

DH forgot to bring BM home with him last night :( so will have to make sure my friend brings it to Church on Sunday, as I can't pick it up today as car is getting worse can't wait till it goes into the garage on Monday.

    B - Bagel with jam
    L - Left over frittata
D - HM bacon and cheese pizza (must get dough out of freezer before I forget).

Have a lovely day everyone. ;)

    Morning everyone,

FF - wonderful news about your nephew, i bet you are all over the moon that they have both been able to come home so soon!!!
PP - hope you feel better and warm up soon!!!
Poshpaws and Dobie - you both have lovely dogs, i would love a pet, but wanting to get finances all straight before i take on the additional expence.
TM - i remember bringing DS home from hospital, then DD 18 months later, the feeling was the same with both - now we've done it!!!
To anyone else who is feeling hung over/ down/ poorly, hope you all feel better soon and you day turns out well!!!!

Well, had a nice lie in today, as found out last night that DS's football match had been cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch!!! HURRAH!!! no standing around in a cold muddy field this weekend, and the chance to stay in bed a little longer, lovely. Trouble is, i woke up with a stuffy nose and a throat that feels like sandpaper, so here comes a cold, i cant complain as its the first one for well over a year, but i knew it was coming, what with half term next week!!!!
Never mind, it takes a lot to keep me down, so i have put the WM on with its first load of the day, planning on making pizza later, so will get the bread machine on later and im just about to tuck in to a bowl of frosted flakes. Not sure which brand as its a trial im doing for one of these research companies, so will have to fill in the questionaire later as well.
Thats about it for today, planning a really relaxed easy one, as we dont need to go anywhere, mind you it is sunny at the moment (very wet tho) so we might have a stroll later, if i dont feel too lazy!!!!
Take care, have a lovely day xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
