And this ^^^^ is why I have stayed away from this website and entire forum - and is also - thanks for the "explanation" people - why I am already, and aim to be further, a very low consumer - and happy to be so.
I must have missed the "business can charge what they like" memo but thanks so much for the enlightenment" and, matty, NO NEED AT ALL to try and understand the mind of this person.

I am sorry you appear not to like the answers given.

If you could tell us what you want to hear, i am sure someone will help you.

    LOL, nice!

    And what's your point?

My main issue is not really what they are charging but that they maintain that stores and .com are separate entities - but the signage etcetera of the stores, packaging and uniform clearly state .com...... which I would take to mean that if shopping at a store (which I rarely do and then usually end up with a giftcard, I am), I am physically shopping at a company that also has an online presence; why would I expect the, say, Karrimor shoe that I pick up in the shop (assisted by a person wearing a Sports Direct.COM T-shirt) to be priced differently if I purchase it from the place they are apparently part of or connected to. They should remove the .com if they are not connected and donnot offer the same prices - unless they make this clear either in store or on the website.

Yes, I must have missed Marketing and Selling 101 but if even their tills cannot cope with a price change according to size, then that tells me a lot. Seems like taking the p*** out of customers and advantage of an online presence. There is NO continuity to the size/price policy (I have reviewed a lot - but God, the website is cumbersome), so it just seems that a trainee has stuck a pin in the catalogue (another separate [even though offered in store and sent with online purchases....] "business", I guess, yes?), deciding which prices and sizes to change or mark (misleadingly - again, I have kept track of some) as a Sale item, when it isn't (and there are laws about this..... or were; I must be very out of touch). I do not see this happen in any other store, so why do SD do it???

I recently watched (very little, I admit) a programme about selling/consumerism featuring (I think I may be misremembering) Jones Bootmaker as they planned for a sale to sell off out of season and
poor-selling ranges and styles. There was a long-drawn out meeting with several people, and no "oh, well we'll offer this at x price for x size, but add some on/reduce by less for those with more generously proportoned feet". Not someone on mimimum wage or less closing their eyes and randomly making a selection. If there is a genuine process, then it should be made clear - and it isn't, because muddy waters can fool everyone.

    As you were.

Or, if you really feel like another condescending comment - or thanking someone who makes one - that's fine too.

Oh, I must be so thick... and that is not what I said. It's what .com means that is the "problem" (for me, anyway - but not for anyone else it would seem....)

Why would an organisation have .COM in it's name and yet not actually sell products at a price actually on the .com arm of itself???

    Oh, for God's sake.
I see what your pointless point is. Well done you.

And, for a higher score, you need to pick up on my user name.
(Reason #4 or 5 for this forum p***ing me off.)
    Come on - keep up.

    For you,nobody else.
As you see, their merchandise generates advertisements for 2 branches of the company in one cost.
Sadly I think you ar never going to see it.
I advise you to avoid all shops with stores and websites

For the ?three or four people on here who "disagree" with me, you mean... not "every-body"; no, not that.

Well, I have been proved right about this bloody place. Jesus Christ, why don't you have a back-slapping party?
