Jo4, have you checked your "trash can" as I think someone mentioned before about the Primus emails being treated as Junk.0

Phoned Ross again and he sent the email yet again and I actually received it this time. 1Mb unlimited broadband works out at £8.48 :money: with them. Now I need to read the terms and conditions and guess I'll probably be signing up. I will be glad to get broadband again as I haven't had it since I got disconnected from e7even and ezeedsl. :j0

Hi Jo4! I have been with Primus now for 5 months and it has been excellent, not one breakdown in service, just one minor detail on bill which was corrected. I dealt with Grant Ross originally and he was very helpful. I have a copy of Primus T & C's if anyone wants a copy send me a PM with your email address. Interested how you managed to work out the cost to £8.48 per month, I've got 1Mb and the best I can work out is approx £10 per month. Perhaps you could give us the breakdown."0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0

It's 1Mb.
Here is what they sent me,
"The freetalk plus package is based on a cashback loyalty bonus so although we charge you £17.98 per month, we credit your account with a sum of £15 every 3 months. This alone would bring your average monthly payments down to £12.98 - a very competitive rate -but ontop of this, once you have been with the service for 12 months we credit your account with a seperate lump sum of £53.94 (3 months worth of broadband payments). This astonishing payback scheme means that your average monthly payments over the year are only £8.48 for your call package and unlimited broadband service."

No Bt line - so no access to all these cheap providers unless I change - as bundle of TV, telephone and broadband with NTL - its too much hassle.
However - i also have Virgin mobile - so i'm a pretty good customer - which I pointed out to NTL customer service - they offered me the same special deal as new customers are currently getting - TV, telephone and broadband for £40. When I first joined them two years ago customer service was pretty dire - but has improved dramatically - is it the Virgin effect? But broadband service has always been top notch and very reliable.0 -
theloft wrote:OK! I see how they have done it, however the credit has to be spent with Primus and if you then put this towards 3 months at the full rate, overall it works out to nearer £10 per month. Still, a very good deal whichever way you look at it.
Which credit has to be spent with Primus, 3 monthly or at end of the year, and how?0
