I'd also like a Credit Card with HSBC, though as my income is only 6k, I'm 18 and have already been refused for a Lloyds TSB Duo Credit Card this month, I'm going to leave it 6 months or so before applying.
I love my Plus account, I just wondering if HSBC are going to send me a PIN Number so I can use my Debit Card.0 -

You have to have £500 credited to the current account monthly to even be considered I'm afraid, and £6k (with tax and such) barely scrapes underneath that.I love my Plus account, I just wondering if HSBC are going to send me a PIN Number so I can use my Debit Card.
They take a couple of days longer to come through than the cards themselves in my experience. They did the same to me when I first opened an account there.0 -
I guess the Credit Card T&C is a good thing. Getting a credit card now could be drastic for me anyway. :P
Can I withdraw money if I go into a branch with my Debit Card and ID?0 -

(Making this clear, because it comes up eleventy billion times a day I swear.)
I haven't got my cheque book, paying in book or PIN yet. Will they accept a passport and plus card?0 -

Thats odd. When I was with Barclays, I just handed my card over and asked for £XXX amount.0 -

We run on a voucher based system, you see - every transaction needs a slip to go with it, and for withdrawals that slip is either a cheque or an actual withdrawal slip. Our tills simply don't have the facility to use cards in any meaningful fashion.0 -
