    How sad is that?:D

It's a bit of plastic, it works.;)

Lol. It is only a card mate. If you are so upset, then maybe you ought to have the HSBC plus card. I think it is one of the best looking cards out there at the moment. I don't know whether this card is the design for the current advance HSBC holders or for the current account/basic account.

Current Account and Advance have the same card. I'm guessing the BBA cash card will get a similar facelift soon enough, don't know anything about it though.

And for once, I agree with you.

That said, the Plus card looks the dog's. ;)

Trust me, it's sad, very sad ..if you are remotely bothered about a bit of plastic.

Btw will account numbers and stuff stay the same?? So I won't need to inform anyone (employers...) about it?

Well, yeah. The debit card changes just affect debit cards. Account numbers etc are all the same. Card numbers will obviously change, a/c nos won't.

I do have to say the card design is a big disappointment. It is plain and ordinary. I note there is no CG card so correct me if i'm wrong, anyone who have current or advance account will not get CG on their debit card and only for those who are eligible with plus and Premier (£250).

Wrong. If you have Advance or Plus, you can still get a CG card, only a £100 limit however. Plain Current Account customers can't get a CG card at all now, and as you rightly say Premier customers can get a £250 CG limit.
