Now I am confused after reading this thread. Sorry! From reading this post I understand that with the introduction of the new Visa Debit Card, my £250 Cheque card limit will be reduced to £100. However, when I recently considered upgrading to the Plus account, in Branch I was told my exisiting card limit will still be applied as I already have the benefit. It would only be new customers who would no longer be offered for it. Which is correct!

I've been a HSBC Plus customer for a year or so now, and not once have I got a special HSBC Plus designed debit card. Just the bog standard one (Maestro with £100 CG)
Anyone have a picture of the HSBC Plus card?

You can request a replacement for your debit card. Just call them up and tell them you need a new replacement. The card design for HSBC plus introduced mid 2008 and so for those who is on PLUS will not have the new design until they either request it to replace their card or lost/stolen/card expires. It will be a black HSBC PLUS visa debit card with £100 CG just like your bog standard grey one!

Thing is, I requested a new card in Janurary this year and still got the bog standard grey one with Maestro which expires 03/10

Today, I called them up and asked for a Visa card and they've sent one out so we'll see if that has the fancy pants HSBC Plus design. lol.

I am hoping to get my new visa card today in the post! I am still waiting for the new card since I ordered last weekend!! I will let you know if the card arrive today.
