am i the only one that doesn't take vitamins??? i took my folic acid before conception (for about three months) and then the folic acid to 14 weeks (as directed by MW) but she told me i didn't need to take anything else. so far all my bloods etc have been okay

Nope! I started taking (cheapy asda own) folic when ttc and then got bored cos it took so long and started taking it again at about 5 weeks pg - I took it *most* days, but not all - and threw up frequently too. I was prescribed iron tablets at about 8 weeks and took them for about a week and then gave up - constipation and I shouldn't have been taking them whilst bf no 3 (he was 2 years 9 months though - so they didn't think to check with me about that! It was only when his poo started going black that I thought about it!!)

Other than that I have taken nothing :D

i knew this wasnt going to be a good day for me but i didnt think it would be as bad.

Gosh Caz - don't know what to say, really. Big ((hugs)) from here for you and I hope it can get sorted. Men are such a pita - their timing sucks. (mine had an affair when I was pg with DD - he actually started it 2 weeks before I was due when he was away at a work thing and was meant to be available just in case, as I was originally expected to go slightly early. It ended when I found out about it when she was about 6 months old)

carla - all you can do is think of the positives sweetie :D That's three more weeks of being pampered by your OH and family (at least we can all dream :D ) and may be more likely that you miss out on the dreaded induction  at the other end if your dates if they are accurate.

    Morning All

Managed to walk to and from school with relative ease today, and I can now rest for a few hours (in between tidying etc.)before picking up time.

AND I have ordered that Graco travel cot from Kiddicare. When the alarm went off at 7am the first thing I did was check the online banking to see if dh loans/grants had gone in...then straightaway ordered the travel cot:)

Just need to get hold of a chest of drawers now and steam steriliser, oh and a cot sized peice of wood for under the cot mattress, for the monitor thingy!!

Don't ask but being as I have a tonne of reports to do... I figured that the most urgent thing in the world was cleaning the inside of my patio glass doors??? I hate cleaning windows and they haven't been done for a LONG time so WHY on earth were they SO important they had to be done right now????
