What's it about?

Back in July 06 Bailey started this thread to help all pregnant MoneySavers and their partners save on anything pregnancy-related plus give each other moral support. It's been hugely popular and now has a long list of pregnant mothers-to-be. Now it's not just for those that are pregnant but also those trying to conceive and MoneySavers that have probably already given birth and yet are probably too tired to let everyone know.

What should you do?

As well as being a great source of tips, baby-related bargains spotted, mutual support and help MoneySavers here have also gradually built up a list, adding themselves to one of these categories (the last one, people are moved to for obvious reasons!): If you want to add yourself to the list follow these steps:
  • Click on the link at the top of this page that says "Last" (it'll take you to the last page of the discussion)
  • Scroll down until you find the message with the very latest copy of the list in (if you use one further up the discussion other peoples' changes after that will be lost)
  • Copy that (highlight it and click control+c)
  • Click reply at the bottom of the thread to open a screen where you can past it (click control+p)
  • Add yourself to the list then click save
  • And don't feel shy. Introduce yourself, say hello and ask a question if you need to.
Plus, if you're thinking of how to cut down on nappy costs remember to have a read of the Nappy MoneySaving article too and for later down the line if you need childcare first read the Childcare Vouchers article. Speech-Mark-Right.gif

Just tried to post on the old one and it closed on me!
    As I was saying...
r.mac, thanks for that about the bump.. I think it was sticking out a lot on sunday because it had a bum in the air but must of moved the other way since then...

I think you probably can fill a ball at the petrol station, my uncle has a compressor and my aunt got him to fill her gym ball with it, worked better than my battery powered pump that did practically nothing to my gymball that I couldn't of done just blowing into it... Ooh... We're over there this weekend... Might take my ball to their compressor ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I just spent 5 mins typing out a huge rant, thread closed, feel better though!

My 1st scans next week, really paranoid as it's baby no.6 and feel Im pushing my luck. Stupid I know but a typical pregnancy brain. It has sadly come at same time as my OH Uncles funeral. Each one 30 miles in different directions. Due to the nuchal fold test we can wait no longer and hospital has no more appointments til after Xmas. I'm going scan and he's going funeral. I will then drive 60 miles back to the wake hopefully. His cousin is totally understanding, but typically MIL is not. She says I should wait and am selfish. Fed up with her attitude, and she wonders why I moved!!!

    Sorry, rant over.
Too many children, too little time!!!
