Just watching the show that came on after growing babies and it made me think of MFD and I bet that (like me) she'll say no tv/games console in kids bedrooms

I gave in to temptation.. just placed an order with Dorothy Perkins - 20% was just too much to miss! Ordered skinny jeans, boots and a few other bits. They might only last a few months but I need to keep wearing my usual stuff for going out with friends over xmas as this one is still a secret!

OH wants to send out "Happy New Year, from L, C and bump" msgs on NYE :)

Ps I got the boots glitch :j I've never done things like that before also when I found the nappies by clicking through the menu system they said out of stock but then searched for "newborn" then chose huggies from the side bar and they were in stock! :T just a tip to try if it says out of stock for you too

i got it too...i've never got a glitch before either. normally they are on things i really dont need. scared at the thought of needing 270 nappies, but i seem to understand bubs will go through a lot.

SB mentioned changng them for bigger sizes. do you do that through boots or elsewhere? not that ihave the nerve to do things like that, i'm just curious.

Boots would swap without receipt I think but you would need to pay the diff, SB said she swaps at asda as they are more relaxed:cool:
My friend is due the week before me so I'll share mine if it looks like I won't get to use them all when the time comes.

OMG I can't believe these parents who let 8yr olds go on the net completely unsupervised

  • AF, the CS staff in my Asda a lovely and I usually say that DH 'picked up the wrong ones' :o. Just make sure they don't have any offers on at the time or you won't get the full price to swap with . SIL takes hers back to Boots without problem too so be brave! :D

I have taken nappies back to boots once coz I forgot Chris had just recently gone up a size and they swapped them but I had a receipt and paid the price gap :A

The prog I'm watching now is a spin off show from the current child of our time, i love prof robert winston! its just made me worry that we'll still be stuck in this house when chris is older and he won't be able to play out like I did as a kid :( we lived deep in an estate next to a big field so no cars to worry about and lots of space to roam/trees to climb! where we live now is next door but 1 to a pub n nxt door but 2 to a train station and on a main road so no way I would let him play out here!

Did anyone else get the "£50 off best selling pushchairs" email from Mothercare today?

They've got the Silver Cross 3D plus car seat for £385. Don't know if that's a good price for it or not! It's a "buy the two together and save £50" offer.
