    Just ordered the nappies from boots - thanks for the find! I've not been on for a while - sooooo much to catch up on!

    Hope you are all well, I wonder how many threads there'll be by the time we have our bouncing bundles!

    Must dash - got to have a bath before I do the school run/go to work. Have a lovely day!

    Morning ladies,

    Not a good start to my morning, although totally my own fault. Left my keys at home so couldn't get into work as early as i normally do. Had to wonder into town, buy myself a muffin for breakfast and read the trashy tv guide for Christmas.

    My hubby didn't seem as impressed as me about the nappies glitch either, but i know his thinking is we dont need them yet so why buy them. At that price, just can't miss out. Sami, dont worry about storing them, i had thought of that but then i remembered just how small the packs were (from when i bought the huggies starter pack).

    SeptemberBaby and Miss _C -- sending labour vibes your way (i am SOOOOOO not jealous of you ladies)

    I'm glad you all joined me in the nappies glitch - I feel much better about splashing out now :D Thanks again to SB :D

    Hubby away this weekend for his work Christmas celebrations. Got a cinema trip lined up with a friend tonight to keep me out of trouble which should be fun. Also going to go through another cupboard ;) nesting nesting nesting!!!

    I used to go to the movies every weekend when i was single and living half a world away but i never get there anymore.

    I think we are going to see secret life of bees? though my friend is picking, we decided it has to be a girly film as the men aren't coming with us. I don't go very often, so it feels like a real treat :D

    I've sort of got that -'I must do everything I won't be able to do in the near future once baby arrives' syndrome :D

    Not sure if they have the 3D, but they have the Silvercross Linear (which is dearer than the 3D in Mothercare), including the car seat for £299.97.

    Or the Freeway Classic, which is dearer again everywhere else, for the same price.

    The only difference I noticed between the 3D and the Linear in Mothercare was the wheels were slightly different, and when its in pram mode, it looked slightly bigger/more comfy on the Linear.

    We got the Classic from Kiddicare, and it arrived two days later and I LOVE it!!

    oh, i wan to see that but as you say, it is a girlie film and there is NO way i could get hubby to go. To be honest, i dont even mind going on my own.

    I am going to get the linear freeway one. I originally wanted the classic, but i found it difficult to move about. The price on Kiddicare is the best I have seen (especially as you get the car seat too).

    I am going to look for a stroller too which is suitable for birht to use on public transport. Has anyone got any recommendations???

    Elle - that's great news! Glad you can relax a bit now. I know how it feels and from now on it just gets easier.

    Ladies - we had trout last night but after we'd eaten a few mouthfuls we realised it was on the turn :eek: I stopped eating it but do you think it could harm the baby? How much bad food do you have to eat before it has an effect?
