AF: I have the cosatto diablo buggy its suitable from birth and pretty light I got mine 2nd hand "as new" on ebay and saved £80ish off the mothercare price, I can recomend cosatto cust service too as my dad managed to break the buggy (god knows how he bent a big thick piece of mental - men!) they sent a courier to pick it up, fixed it and returned it all within a week - and best of all forgot to charge me for it :j
i will have a look at this one online, thank you so much for the recommendation. i know what i want in a pram, but wouldnt really know where to start on a stroller from birth (as i didn't really want one but wont have a choice) so thank you very much for the recommendation.0 -
I'm poorly
I've got a cold, feel really exhausted, so I'm just sleeping today. OH sent me a text saying 'I think I might quit my job, tell you about it later'. Stress, yay!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

My hubby does that sometimes, I hope he's just having a bad day or finds a new job firsthe's loving his job at the mo coz they're sending him to belfast for 2 days next week but just to balance it he has to go o london and back on saturday  he "loves" driving 400miles in one day!
AF: one thing I think you want in a buggy is the seperate handles to put your shopping on coz you can't get much more than a pint of milk in the baskets0 -
Ooo feelie - my hubby is being wierd too. Have just found out that hubby didn't bother to go into work today...now considering that we normally keep in fairly regular touch by text I was starting to get a bit worried (he had not replied to my texts) then he starts shouting at me saying he is a grown man who can do what he wants
God only knows what's up with him - he's up and down more that I am at the moment and that is saying something!
Anyway - hope you are feeling better soon feelie.
The bottom of my bump feels really heavy - like I need a wee all the time (when I don't). Think I might need a bit of support there - any recommendations anyone?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

I found proper maternity trousers from mothercare supported my bump last time... This time I've just invested in some bump bands.. They arrived this morning actually but won't be needing them for a while...
DH hates his job with a passion... Plus its 90mins away by bus (not including waiting times) so he's out of the house long hours... He keeps on about finding a new one but I'm really nervous in the current climate... I think if he's got a stable job he should stick at it... But then I'm not the one that has to do it...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

DH isn't always horribly keen on his job but he knows I'd lose grip on reality if he just up and quit. I'm a worrier and that would probably push me over the edge. He talks a good game occasionally about "oh I oughtta just quit" but he wouldn't really do it. He's just venting, I think.
Krystaltips- I think that's how DH feels too - it's just not a good idea to give up a stable job right now, even if you're not particularly thrilled about it.
DS has a cough right now and was up most of the night. Now I'm overtired and feeling gross. I couldn't even sleep when he took his nap, as the health visitor was popping by and I had to watch for her so she didn't ring the doorbell and wake up DS once he finally went to sleep. *yawn*MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -

I've got one of those weird support bands from the Physio - its really good. My bump feels really heavy, but this holds it in and takes some of the strain of the tummy and back muscles. Would something like that help? Perhaps mention it to the midwife. Our Physio department is really helpful, you can just turn up and they give you crutches or bands.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
I think OH is just annoyed at his work load. He is doing between 50 and 70 hours a week at the moment, and they want him to work every weekend. His mate hasn't had a weekend off in over 6 weeks! He has also been 'given' a guy to manage, who is so lazy and useless and refuses to do any work. OH is doing two peoples jobs. Hopefully weekend will help. Suppose stress about his Dad doesn't help either, or me being rather incapacitated!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
