We're not big drinkers either, and obviously I'm not at all due to pregnancy! But we'll pick up a few bottles of spirits, some lager, some John Smith (for FIL), and a few bottles red and white. Plus sodas and juice for those not drinking alcohol. But there's going to be 30-40 people coming over during the afternoon and evening, so we'll need plenty on hand. And then a few non-alcoholic beers for DH & I.
And of course the sausages wrapped in bacon - I loooooove those!MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -

The grinding is awful isn't it? Any movement I make at all, and I can feel it grinding at the front. That doesn't hurt particularly, but is makes me feel all funny - I don't like it at all!
One thing - after the physio, I've been wearing the band and doing the exercises, and its a lot better! I used to be unable to walk from about 7pm, but most days I can get to bed without having to use crutches! Got to watch sitting on the floor though, I spent an hour wrapping presents and couldn't walk the next day.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Oh, poor thing - SPD feels weird and painful too. I had it when pregnant with DS. I still have the back brace thing - so the minute I feel any popping, grinding, or pain I'm putting it back on.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

I'm glad I've got an excuse not to drink this year. Every Christmas I get so much alcohol pushed my way from the In-Laws, they don't take no for an answer! Its not like me to be so resistant, but I have to say no. Hopefully they won't offer now I'm pregnant! They even encourage OH to drink when he is driving. Only one or two glasses, but still, I'm not really comfortable with that.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Rolling over is horrible, got to be really careful. The physio lady got up on the table and showed us how to roll over in bed, which helps. I've got one of those triangle cushion things, and thats good too. If I stay in any one position for too long, its really painful when I get up. The amount of times I've got out of bed and fallen down because my leg won't take the weight!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

We're not having anyone over either this year... We're going to family (Haven't decided which ones yet lol) for boxing day but we're not particularly social... We go to church christmas morning then come home and have a quiet family day. I love it!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Anyone else use a laptop on their laps and worry about the effect on the baby? Or am I superparanoid? I sit with the laptop on my lap alot - but I have read one or two things that say it doesn't have any effect on the baby. Anyone read anything conflicting to that?MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0
