perhaps he took the morning off to do his special christmas shopping???;)
Nope - he has been playing call of duty on the wii apparently.
I have told him exectly what I want for christmas but he keeps blathering on about an engagement ring...we have been married for 2 1/2 years on New Years Day
It's all well and good but I would rather buy nursery furniture than an engagement ring.
Krystal - I have been in maternity trousers (under bump, on bump and over bump) for months now and I am still having a problem. In fact - I am a little worried because I am now outgrowing most of my maternity clothes (trousers and tops)...please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

you know me too well :rotfl:
however, i am having to get a stroller which i never wanted to do (always wanted to use the pram) but i think i have to go 'two handle' on the stroller
it's just if i knew i would get the 'newer' buses then i wouldn't bother, but as i live in what some still like to call a village (which i dont think it is) and it doesn't have the most frequest of bus services, we get the old buses 90% of the time.
disappeared for ages....work is a nightmare (and that is all i am saying on the matter).
as for the heavy bump MFD, i had that for a few weeks from about 21weeks on. disappeared and now has resurfaced. i was wondering if my maternity trousers would help any? maybe not.0 -
MFD, how was the show?
I'm sure we all snook off and started a new thread behind your back last time too!
And although we do talk lots, we are also keeping Boots and Huggies safe from insolvency and doing our bit for the economic crisis....as well as being very MSE! :T.

afternoon ladies!! must be a thing with OH today as we went to morrisons to get the last reciept and i told OH if he came he could get the christmas booze. he got what he wanted and i picked up a bottle of champagne(reduced!) and 4 bottles of reefs probably still be there once baby here lol! and he filled the trolley. i wanted a look at the turkeys and saw a really good deal and all he done was moan about money grrrrrrr so its ok to have a trolley full of booze but no turkey?? so we ended up moaning at each other and heading for the checkout???
FG hopefully its just a bad day at work?
MFD hope he does the housework if hes off:DWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
AF I understand the problem you've got with pushchairs and public transport, it's a game I used to play with DD... I had a big pram and a buggy... I actually liked using the big pram on the bus in the earlier days because I could pop the carrycot off the frame and pop it on the seat and just fold the wheels up whereas with a buggy you have to get the baby out and fold the pushchair with a baby under 1 arm... Once I stopped using the seat like a carrycot and sat it up, it was easier to use the buggy... (Do I make sense anymore?)
I have horrendous heartburn... have tried ringing the Drs twice for a gaviscon script but they must have a problem with their phones because they can't hear me and hang up... We're doing the shop to pick up holiday booze tomorrow morning to get it over with. We're having a bunch of people over on Boxing Day so the bill will be kinda pricey. Thank goodness we get a discount of 15% at the supermarket - even a little bit off makes a difference now.
Feelinggood - oh, DH has a few people at work like the guy your DH is managing - too lazy to do anything, don't pull their own weight, and seem to have no initiative. Makes DH absolutely crazy cuz everyone else has to work harder to make up for it.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -
We bought a case of budweiser with the last shop but doubt there will be anymore booze in this house... We're not big drinkers at the best of times... Need to make sure we buy some little sausages wrapped in bacon though!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... feelinggood wrote: »I've got one of those weird support bands from the Physio - its really good. My bump feels really heavy, but this holds it in and takes some of the strain of the tummy and back muscles. Would something like that help? Perhaps mention it to the midwife. Our Physio department is really helpful, you can just turn up and they give you crutches or bands.
Feelie - I have got a physio appointment on 29 December for my SPD...which isn't so painful at the moment but the clicking is getting so bad that it is more like my pelvis is grinding together :eek:please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
