  • Cheers MrsTine.

I am fit n healthy and eat a really balanced diet - only fresh food due to allergies. I'm sure I get loads of folic acid from my cereal and green veg etc. but will certainly start on the folic acid :) Can't hurt me anyway, can it?!
  • cheeky - if you have a healthy diet, then you shouldnt need pregnacare, just folic acid, i get mine from poundland, they do tubs of 90 tablets.

It won't do you any damage as FA isn't one of the things you can overdose on, if you take in too much your body just gets rid of the excess along with other waste products

    morning ladies,

    early start for me!!!!!

i am feeling very very pregnant now, which i should be as i am 31+3 now (where the heck did all that time go  ).

went to a large babies r us store yesterday. saw some lovely cribs and a moses basket i like. i was going to go for a crib but the moses basket was soooo lovely (and doesn't give me the confusion re crib bumper etc aand if they should be used or not - all were displayed with them).

still no further on names (think bubs might be nameless for a few days somehow).

starting to think about a 'going home' outfit for bubs. as i am do not know what flavour bubs is, if i get one now it will be white. said to hubby over the weekend about it and said if i dont get one now, he will be under pressure to go and buy one when bubs arrives. i was thinking about if i dont stay in hospital that long, then he wont have much time???? he said it would be fine and how hard could it be to pop into mothercare and pick an outfit???. ... mmmmm hard i would have thought considering he hasn't shown too much interest in buying things and just lets me get what i want

am i the only one that doesn't take vitamins??? i took my folic acid before conception (for about three months) and then the folic acid to 14 weeks (as directed by MW) but she told me i didn't need to take anything else. so far all my bloods etc have been okay
  • AF - we were given a Whinnie the Pooh set which is yellow and green, so I've packed that for a going home outfit, so you might be able to find something like that? (Plus a white "snowsuit" type babygrow to go over the top, which has a hood with ears on! DH found it at Matalan, and was over the moon when I said we could take it home with us. Silly boy!) I think it came from asda.

    thanks for that ladybird.

i think i might have a look for something like that. it sounds similar to an outfit i bought when my friend had her baby.

i am not commenting on the rights or wrongs, as it is not my pregnancy and therefore not my place to comment, but what a strong couple they will need to be with what may lie ahead of them.

    morning ladies.

Caz - how are you this morning hun??? I'm around if you need to chat x

Lil'monkey - Hello and welcome. I'd say go for it if you and your OH feel ready :D

Ladybird - how are things with you today? I had my watersbreaking dream again last night. I know it's just an anxiety thing, but as time goes on it's getting more and more real

Had a lovely weekend. Friends came for SUnday lunch yesterday and the men helped move some furniture around so the house is feeling more organised. FIL is popping over at lunchtime to fit a new light in the kitchen and then this evening we are off to collect my glider chair and stool.

Planning a quiet week, with lots of naps, although I keep thinking of things to do! Poor Hubby has got flu, but gone to work anyway (men!) so feeding us lots of soup, multivits (I didn't tell him it's a pg one :D ) and hot honey and lemon. Last thing I want to do is catch it

Oh dear god, what an awful situation to be in.
I know in my heart that I could not carry on that pregnancy if it was me, the twins only have 20% chance of survival and who knows what other complications they might have.
But of course that is my own personal opinion, plus I have never been told it would be hard for me to conveive.
