    What's up Triggles?

I meant to ask you actually, which type of doppler have you got? I was looking at this one last night.. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Anglesounds-JPD-100S-Fetal-Doppler/dp/B000XS987A/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

I keep wondering if I should join or not, have not yet discussed this pregnancy with my consultant to see if its safe for me to procede or not, but right now I am pregnant and regardless of the outcome I have the morning sickness to prove it.

My minera went missing as we discovered on Wednesday when I took not one but two tests just incase I had misread the clear blue digital and clear blue original! Straight to GP who sent me straight to EPAS for a scan. Another positive test up there, I was still convinced it was a phantom pregnancy till the scan! To say we were shocked and terrified doesn't even cover it!

Now I am trying really hard not to get excited but I can't help it. I just have a good feeling about this one. I am about 6weeks (they didnt tell me exaclty just that was early) going by my dates (that I am actually sure of this time) I should be due 31st August. Although going by past history if I get to July we will be suprised. If I get there at all.

Anyway, went to bed last night at 10am and this morning I got up at 9am, but woke at the usual 7.30am and I felt OK, not too sick, so heres hoping that early nights help my morning sickness. And that my bloomin consultant will get in touch soon!!!

Well we like being difficult - our children are taking my name and I kept it after we got married - DH plans to take my name when he gets round to it - he has no wish to keep his as he loathes his dad and his mum went back to her maiden name before she remarried so there will be no more people in his family with his dads name and as far as DH is concerned he's happy with the name being erased from his history - only reason he still has it is that he's built up a name for himself in business and changing it will be a hassle...

Will it cost you for a new birth certificate if you register baby in Mrs Tine K and Mr Y then want to change the Mr Y to Mr K once he gets round to it? ("Mr Y" being a guess at his name!)

Feely - my MW recommends drinking lucozade (or similar) and having a chocolate bar if baby is not moving. If that doesn't wake it up then get down to the Hospital or MW clinic asap, although I am sure all that sugar will kick start it ;)

Roo was really quiet for a couple of days, only slight wiggling definitely no kicking... then yesterday she obviously woke up and decided to really lay into me LOL
She's now known as Roo as she kicks so much LOL

    Madmoobag - 10th January 2009...Happy due date!!!!

Hi Tiamai...Congratulations on the pregnancy...what a shock it must have been though, to find out the coil had gone missing!!!!DoYou have any other children?

I can't wait to order my travel cot from Kiddicare on Monday...I keep checking the quantites they have left in stock, still over 400 at the moment so i'm sure they will still have one for me:)

Baby is running out of room now, feel more squirming, and stabbing me with his bony elbows, than kicks now. He woke me up THREE times last night, I am shattered.

Anyone with babies already, how much roughly, does it cost for nappies and formula a month. I know it will vary a bit depending on amount of milk baby takes and brand of nappies etc....just a rough guide will do:) Trying to do a budget for the year (something I have never done before), but I want to clear debts this year.

    Mel x

Elle - I have a doppler called Mas Baby Watcher - DH bought it off ebay about 3 years ago when I was pregnant with DS2 - I looked on ebay yesterday and haven't even seen any by that name. But there are certainly tons out there that are probably very good.
