This is the baby rocker seat we have - although a different pattern on the material - ours is red and blue with an outside gardeny theme to it.

    Have you looked on ebay?

We got ours on ebay for £6 and its brand new in box, from a shop that couldn't sell it full price because the box was all bashed. Thats the only baby bargain I've got though!

Managed to get a moses basket fairly cheap from marshall ward cos of a £10 off your first order code but it doesn't count as a bargain because i already had a moses basket which was loaned to a friend who managed to break it.

Thats a really good price AM! Think my rocking chair was about £45 which is why I'm miffed my Mum gave it to someone! It was like new aswell... Ho hum...

MFD, hubby works in Dudley so he's dragged me over there to meet him from work on more than one occaision... Although I have been lucky enough to be treated to dinner in the Bostin Fittle... But never in Frankie and Benny's.... That's where he goes with his work friends for nice lunches... I digress anyway... Was going to say.. If ever you wanted to come to Walsall I could maybe accompany you round kiddisave and we could play with all the baby things together... I'm not some crazed stalker type.. Promise...

Ok... Maybe a little... But not so you'd notice....

cazscoob - oh i agree - it was not ideal - but by the time I was ready to deliver, I was the only one in that room - so there was privacy. I guess July is a busy month as the delivery rooms were full!

I spent 12 hours on a delivery ward when I was having Aimee though... When I got there, there was another girl in with her curtains round sucking on gas and air... They took her off pretty quickly and another woman came in for a while but was only having her BP monitered... She did end up coming in later and delivering the same night as me though... They moved me to delivery suite when I was 5cm and I had Aimee about 2 1/2 hours after that really...

Yeah i've looked but they are all second hand, I dont mind but OH will have a hissy fit if i get anything else second hand
I might just get the blue one then see what happens, my friend did say she was going to get me the one from babies r us but I dont want to be cheeky and ask her when.
So at least if I get that then she gets me the one I want I can give the blue one to my mum or something.

AM same for my DH... I was all up for freecycle etc but he's having none of it! ARGH! How's a girl supposed to be sticking to her MSE principles if he insists on new stuff!!!! *sigh*
Oh well - at least I have a sewing machine so can do curtains etc myself - that's unless he spots curtains he thinks fits in the room and buys them - i could scream...

My hubby's the same though, we pop into mothercare or kiddisave and he wants to buy one of everything... I have to keep pointing out why we don't need things... and the things I do want to buy... cloth nappies and a nice sling, he has no interest in... They're just not high tech enough!
