Why do you want longer delivery times from Kiddicare? Another week and you will be in the same panic I am in!!
Is it superstition?
My mother said last week that she has a load of stuff for me but she is keeping it at home until Bubba arrives  Now, can somebody explain to me how I am supposed to know what to buy when people refuse to let me know what they have bought!!
Yeah I know I will be
Strange thing is, i would have thought i was the most superstitious person going, but it's not that. I think it is just having room for the items at the moment to be honest.
Plus I will want to play with everything once it arrives and there will be no baby yet to play with.0 -
My Mum's bought a pile of stuff and is keeping it at her house too! Must be a Mum thing... Hope she brings stuff over before baby arrives though, she's a heavy smoker and everything will have to be washed first...
Sami, I'll pop off and measure the curtains in a min, and see if I can find the camera and take a piccy...
Nice to see you AF, you've been very quiet recentlyA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Maybe we should have an MSE pregnancy meet there so we can all go shoppoing :rotfl:
You'd be better going to peterBOROUGH!!
Would be a pretty long trek for you though. But having said that it is always good to venture north sometimesplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Caz: If a MW tells me she's gonna wake me n bubs up this time I'm gonna tell her where to stick it! :rotfl: although hoping to be home quickly this time around!
I didn't see the mat/labour ward with Chris as chose to go home and then came almost straight back as he was such a quick labour! so I only saw the obs room at first and then was put straight into labour room when went back as obs room was occupied and they had an idea it wouldn't be long!0 -

gee, i ALWAYS make that mistake when i am referring to Peterborough.
When I'm a Celeb was one, i told one of my male colleagues that that Nicola girl went out with a guy who played for Petersfield. :rotfl: Well done me:T
Looks like Peterborough is a couple hours away from us too.0 -
I bought the blue one from kiddicare, depending on how flush we are i might replace it with a better one, although for £15 i think thats a good un.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0

AM I got the cheap bouncer from Mothercare was about £12 or something similar, didn't rock/swing itself but it was amazing how I quickly I learnt to bounce it whilst washing up/ironing etc! However we had to take DS1 out of it eventually as he learnt how to bounce himself around the room in it. Imagine leaving him at one end of the room whilst you pop to the loo only to find him the other end when you came back a few minutes later!!!
I'm daring to go swimming in a bit and take DS1 who's 16months with me! We're off to the local pool which isn't too close to the sea so I shouldn't get harpooned!!:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

Hmm - just been checking out Kiddicare and apparently they add 7% delivery too all their online stuff...
Might give them a call about something I want and see if it will be cheaper to go over.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
My DD's just been to see the midwife at the docs and she reckons the baby's small:( fundus is measuring 27cm and she said it should be 38, but i've looked online and it said it's roughly 1cm for every week preg
They said she has to go back in 3 weeks, and if it's still small have a scan.I'm v worried:(
She is quite tall and slim though so....."You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

MFD sorry, think Millie and Matthew would sound too 'cute' but well done on your quick thinking, I thought kiddicare was £5.99 delivery or free if over £50.
AM I know what you mean about asking for stuff, a couple of people have asked me what i want them to buy me and the only things i would feel happy asking them for are things I want to have already for when charlie (not its real name) arrives, like a snowsuit to come home in, but I don't feel comfortable saying buy me this but I want it by whatever date!
I had an all singing/vibrating/dancing bouncy chair for millie and the only time I used any of the clever things it did was when she was a bit bigger and I used it to prop my feet up, the massaging thing was lush on your feet.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740
